Man ! C band solutions are hardly ever universal. You'll try a trick on a tp and it'll work like charm. Another person will try it on another location on a tp and say you were lying. That's why there is no universally accepted best cband 'best lnb'on the same forum i came across the following experiment that i want to try using a standard polyethylene chopping board:
apparently it has some astonishing results for c-band on Mini-Buds-doubling or tripling the signal strengths on some sats..
true that.in that thread two chaps had excellent results.others had mixed results.but i guess the fun in ASAS is experimenting and trying to see the outcome.the thing is- if an FTA enthusiast tries something and notices that there is a signal improvement, most folks, being no physicists, cannot explain it.even the originator of this thread is asking forum members to try and explain to him, based on scientific facts, why there is an improvement after using the modified teflon.what follows are more questions and theories-e.g. the dielectric used can be 6-8 mm,it must not be smooth, which is the best dielectric materiall, what is the best length to protrude off the scalar, how far does the modified dielectric go inside the throat of the lnb and so on.a phyisicist,or satellite expert, could give a scientific and definitive answer, after carrying out a methodical research and analysis so that in the end, there can be a universal and definitive conclusion that works across the board.Man ! Use FTA compatible satbox and a 6ft dish with cbad lnb.How I can get this channel? I want to watch new season of EPL on this channel

You see, propagation of low frequency radio waves is affected by a wide range of factors.true that.in that thread two chaps had excellent results.others had mixed results.but i guess the fun in ASAS is experimenting and trying to see the outcome.the thing is- if an FTA enthusiast tries something and notices that there is a signal improvement, most folks, being no physicists, cannot explain it.even the originator of this thread is asking forum members to try and explain to him, based on scientific facts, why there is an improvement after using the modified teflon.what follows are more questions and theories-e.g. the dielectric used can be 6-8 mm,it must not be smooth, which is the best dielectric materiall, what is the best length to protrude off the scalar, how far does the modified dielectric go inside the throat of the lnb and so on.a phyisicist,or satellite expert, could give a scientific and definitive answer, after carrying out a methodical research and analysis so that in the end, there can be a universal and definitive conclusion that works across the board.

Take for example FM radio reception which at times can be quite funny. You may only be able to receive good signal by putting the aerial into your mouth or by placing the radio aligned to a particular direction. Or by letting a baby carry the radio. You can't explain why and it may not work for another person. The lower the frequency the more misterious it gets. Remember AM radios? Tuning those were even harder. And short wave radios (some only work at night. Atmospheric pressure and temperature is also a factor). Tried setting up a VHF terrestrial TV aerial? Your neighbor's might work while placed facing one direction but yours might need another direction.
Apparently the higher the frequency the more predictable wave propagation behaviour becomes. So ku is better understood and ka even better.
Now back to that guys experiment. You could find, a low frequency interference was coming from one side of the dish. Placing a huge plate like that was partly blocking the interfering signal thus improving reception. If you try it elsewhere without the interference you won't see any improvement only good signal blockage.
Why must the plate be rough? Again just theories; Rough surfaces are known for irregular reflection hence scattering off the interfering signal? Rough surfaces have more surface area and that got something to do with "absorbing" good signal? Who knows.
Just my thoughts.
Satellites.co.uk, satguysus.com tvrosat.com and other foreign satellite forums are very rich in info. They don't even discuss hacked channels, power vu and stuff infact its banned over there (even discussing boxes like Freesat is forbidden) But the info in those fora is still amazing''.... Hahaha...very funny..anyway the theory given was that a smooth surface created standing waves,in phase,on the plate surface or dispersed anti-phase standing waves(whatever that means).truly ASAS sufferers are borderline crazy.i also read about adding a scalar to an inverto ultra :
As they say-There is a fine line between hobby and mental illness.

I have accounts there..
Go to 8°WHello family. Anyone with a solution to MBC channels?
With Software of 05/2018 Gsky V7 is blazing "but I had to wait for like 30-45 min,for it to open"Still blazing Freq but the signal is a bit weak at times, and the keys changes evey now and then so Hellobox gave up but Freesat still standing strong.View attachment 822056View attachment 822057
In my thinking, the west was built using grabbed resources from other parts of the world.so i have no qualms about grabbing prohibited TV signals or even using pirated software.I see it as payback for our 'grabbed' natural resources. And even today they still continue to grab our natural resources(after colluding with our 'leaders' of course).the best example is that of coltan and tantalum, found in the congo and used in all the laptops and smartphones of today.the west pays very little for these minerals.so watching hacked channels is a way of 'balancing' their theft.
Brother Vicwa my patience runs out after every 15 minutes, whenever waiting for hellobox to wakeup from slumber. I guess knowing Freesat does it in 2 minutes accelerates negative patience persistence. With Software of 05/2018 Gsky V7 is blazing "but I had to wait for like 30-45 min,for it to open"

The channels seem to be on test but they rushed. Fairing better than Ts*v. Ama ni sambaza they are rebroadcasting[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]The actual quality of Hornsat sport 1 on a 24" this is their idea of "scrambling" channels? 🙂 some are slightly betterView attachment 821657
Ok, its available in which sat? And how about the footprint am in TanzaniaUse FTA compatible satbox and a 6ft dish with cbad lnb.
The first blazing was 30.....minutes, but this morning it blaze after 2 minutes.Brother Vicwa my patience runs out after every 15 minutes, whenever waiting for hellobox to wakeup from slumber. I guess knowing Freesat does it in 2 minutes accelerates negative patience persistence.
Freq sir! r u in kenya? What size of the dish n lnb type? 10887H as troubled me for several weeks.
Am using a 6ft pf. But it's targeted at 3W. 7/5e is a parasite. Lnb stargold fuji. Location Nairobi.Freq sir! r u in kenya? What size of the dish n lnb type? 10887H as troubled me for several weeks.
