That seems to be a looong time ago! Its Still blazing though.@all,
On 01/01/2017, i lost signal on S**NY ENT tp. 3900v/ 22220. Set-up includes C-Band LNB Pauxis PX-2000 as parasite on a 6ft p.f. dish. The signal was initially strong & stable then dwindled to a flashing green @39% which disappeared altogether 🙁🙁🙁

Not many brands of C/Ku Combo exist. So far I,ve only come across pauxis combo. So it would be better to buy a Eurostar for Cband then combine Juakalilly with a ku band lnb of your choice. any brand of a ku will do for your combination since the Ku TP at 68 isn't that elusive.
Upgrade to C ASAP. Never knew what I missed when I was on KU alone. C Channels are of higher quality, more stable over time they don't just appear and disappear like KU channels. Also C band tends to become stronger while its raining unlike KU that degrade signal strength while raining. Cband beams also cover large swaths of land hence chances are higher that they cover your place compared to the limited ku band beam coverageWow! Some 'homework' there. Will explore that when I get promoted from Ku to C. I have predominantly been on Ku since I learnt the art of hunting......
Reminds me...

So placing or not placing the middle circular part of a pf dish affects signal reception ?
Haha.. you will need a very big sufuria for an 8 ft middle partObviously! May I add that if you choose to raid the kitchen for that sufuria lid, you might as well join the Linda Transformer Party.😀
It all depends on your enthusiasm. And how serious ASAS has infected you. Am only four months old in this field and have already collected 4 dishes: 90cm, 130cm, 6ff & 8ft and like 6 lnbs. My infection began when i bought a*zm tv wanted to install it myself so I started googling around and landed here. I was surprised that some channels they were charging as "premium' were actually FTA! So i started hunting!!You guys are very far in this sat field hope i will be as you as am getting my act together on this stuffs!
