Marian University College (MARUCO) invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for the following vacant academic positions available at various Faculties.
FACULTY OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES
(1) Senior Lab Technician III/II/I (FTC- Bachelor) (1 Position)
Discipline: Laboratory Science
Qualification: Possession of Bachelor degree in Laboratory Science or Full Technician Certificate. Experience of not less than 2 years and other training in laboratory activities including using various laboratory instruments in Physics will be added advantages for applicants.
(2) Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer (1 Positions)
Discipline: Science Education/Instructional Technology/Curriculum and Teaching/Instruction
Qualification: PhD/Masters degree in any of the disciplines indicated above from a recognized University and should have attained a bachelor’s degree of Science with Education, with a minimum GPA of 3.8. The minimum GPA for Master/Postgraduate degree should not be less than 4.0 or an average of B+ for unclassified degree.
(3) Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer (1 Positions)
Discipline: Marine Sciences /zoology/wildlife management/life sciences Qualification: PhD/Masters degree in the disciplines indicated above from a recognized University and should have attained a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.8. The minimum GPA for Master/Postgraduate degree should not be less than 4.0 or an average of B+ for unclassified degree.
(4) Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer (1 Positions
Discipline: Computer Science.
Qualification: PhD/Masters degree in any of the disciplines indicated above from a recognized University and should have attained a bachelor’s degree of Computer Science with a minimum GPA of 3.8. The minimum GPA for Master/Postgraduate degree should not be less than 4.0 or an average of B+ for unclassified degree.
Library Unit
(6) Librarian/Assistant Librarian (1 Position)
Discipline: Library, Records, Archives, Information Sciences, Information/Documentation Studies, Information Management.
Qualification: Masters /Bachelor degree in any of the disciplines indicated above from a recognized University and should have attained a bachelor’s degree of Library Studies with a minimum GPA of 3.8. The minimum GPA for Master/Postgraduate degree should not be less than 4.0 or an average of B+ for unclassified degree.
(7) Public Relation Officer I (1 position)
Discipline: Public Relation
Qualification: Bachelor degree holder in the disciplines of Journalism or equivalent who has completed at least three years of satisfactory service in that grade.
(8) Legal Officer I (1 Position)
Discipline: Legal
Qualification: Holder Master’s Degree/ LLB Degree plus internship/or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Applicants should have a minimum of at least 3 years working experience in related field.
Mode of Application:
Qualifying candidates are encouraged to submit their application letters accompanied with copies of certificates/transcripts, curriculum vitae with names of three referees together with their contacts addresses and any other relevant documents portraying their competence in the field. Interviews are expected to be conducted on 18/2/2017 after the deadline of this advert; with actual dates to be communicated to only short listed applicants.
