Kampuni ya uchimbaji madini ya ACACIA imetoa taarifa kuhusu Ripoti aliyokabidhiwa Rais Magufuli leo asubuhi kutoka kwa Kamati iliyopewa kazi ya uchunguzi.
Kamati imetoa taarifa kuwa kampuni ya ACACIA haijatoa taarifa kamili(sahihi) ya kiasi cha madini kilichopo kwenye makanikia yaliyoshikiliwa na kwamba amri ya kuzuia usafirishaji wa makontena yenye mchanga huo inaendelea kuwepo.
ACACIA bado haijaiona Ripoti hiyo inayosema kuwa kiasi cha madini kilichopo kwenye makontena hayo yanayoshikiliwa hadi sasa katika Bandari ya Dar es Salaam ni mara 10 ya kiasi kinachotajwa kwenye nyaraka za usafirishaji. Bado wanatafuta Ripoti kamili na ufafanuzi zaidi.
ACACIA inasisitiza kuwa huwa inatoa taarifa kamili ya kila kitu chenye thamani ya kifedha ambacho wanazalisha na huwa wanalipa kodi zote stahiki kwa kila madini yanayotakiwa kulipiwa.
Wanamalizia kwa kusema watatoa taarifa zaidi kwa wateja haraka iwezekanavyo.

Update on the export of metallic mineral concentrates
ACACIA would like to inform the market that the President of Tanzania H.E. Dr. John P. Magufuli is hosting a public presentation this morning at 07:30 UK time, in Swahili, where the Chairman of the first Presidential Committee, made up of academics and industry professionals to investigate the contents of the concentrate containers, will present a report to the President.
ACACIA has fully co-operated with their work. The report and the findings of the Committee have not been shared with ACACIA and it is not clear to what extent they will be disclosed at the presentation this morning. ACACIA will provide an update to the market as soon as practical following the President's press conference.
UPDATE:
Further update on the export of metallic mineral concentrates
ACACIA notes the findings of the Presidential Committee’s investigation into the export of gold/copper concentrates which were presented to the President of Tanzania H.E. Dr. John P. Magufuli this morning. The Committee has stated that ACACIA has not fully declared all of the minerals contained in the concentrate and the directive halting the export of metallic mineral concentrates remains in place.
ACACIA has not yet seen a full copy of the report, which states that the value of minerals within the concentrates in the containers currently at the Dar es Salaam port is more than 10 times the declared amount. We are seeking a full copy of the report and further clarification.
ACACIA re-iterates that it fully declares everything of commercial value that we produce and pay all appropriate royalties and taxes on all of the payable minerals that we produce.
ACACIA will provide a further update to the market as soon as practical.
