A 5.9-magnitude earthquake shook western Turkey Thursday night, CNNTürk reported.
The center of the quake was reported as Simav town of the western province of Kütahya.
The tremor was felt in Bursa, Istanbul and İzmir.
Initial reports did not mention any damage to people or property.
