Succeeded to identify the issue, it a known issue with Lenovo e71, it was not meant for win 10, so the only way to install win 10 is to install win7 then upgrade to win10 without formatting the hard drive but to upgrade win7 keeping all the settings intact. Thanks all, it was giving me a headache.

Managed to install win 7 and worked fine i.e switched off fine. Read somewhere Lenovo thinkcentre users complaining about this issue. One suggested either win 10 to be installed using gpt or mbr format. Will try this tomorrow.

Ntajaribu hii idea with an electrician. I also changed power supply. Option nyengine nashuku ni windows 10 bcoz it had win 7 b4 and had no issue, issue started when I installed win 10. Rgds

No addition or changes. CPU light is just on and fan moving, if I disconnect CPU fan, CPU light is just on. I HV to press power button long press for it to shut down. Have tried changing power options also but in vain.
