The code on your screen should be unique to your subscription and if they appear on someone else's tv and they didn't pay for that subscription then the ground team knows its an illegal connection. Mostly targeted for entertainment area.
Looks similar to dstv checking if you are watching or using a subscription you have paid for. I understand they have a ground team counter checking the codes and location the unique codes appeared.
Am impressed with the swahili moreover by the update received on my azam Kenya decoder, am not sure blind scan is included but I will be checking later. I wish I paid more attention to my swahili teacher.
Currently you watch them for 2 weeks after expiry before they go off. But with the recent issues with digital migration issues they might be extending the duration.
