    Jamani eh, mimi natatizika sana na hili neno Daktari Bingwa. Kimantiki linaonekana kama mtu aliyebobea katika fani fulani ingawa kwa matumizi nadhani linamaanisha daktari aliyespecialise katika kitu fulani. Je hii ina maana kwamba aliyespecialise kwenye jicho kwa mfano lazima awe bingwa (champion) wa macho? Mimi nadhani daktari maalum wa macho inasimama vizuri zaidi. Naomba ufafanuzi.

    Lugha ni jinsi jamii inavyokubali kuitumia. Hivyo maadamu jamii imeafiki kwamba madaktari waliospecialise katika fani fulani ni mabingwa, basi ni sawa.

    Ni kweli kuwa kiswahili kimejichanganya na kumwita Daktari "Mahususi" kuwa Daktari Bingwa. Matokeo yake ni kuwa Daktari Bingwa wa magonjwa ya wanawake anaonekana ni mbabe kweli kuliko Gynecologist japo ni yule yule (hata kwa hisia ya kiingereza chenyewe)!!!
