Mzee I am sure you know that Chenge was the AG for 12 years. AGs sit in the front seats alongside the PM and Chief Whip. He was never a backbencher. Again, in 2006 he was immediately appointed a Minister. He resigned just before this parliament, so it is understandable that he never sat in the backbench before this Bunge session. So we can give him the benefit of doubt. You asked why he was at the Bunge Hall at some minutes past 8? Well, Bunge sessions end at few minutes before 8, so when would he be there in private? it must be after 8!! My request is to leave the team charged with investigation to come out with their report.
I hear that Chenge went to the parliament at 8:30 a.m and not 8:30p.m. to look for his sit when the session begins. Please be reminded that, every MP has his own sit the House.
Personally, I do not think that Chenge would do a thing like that, especially in the company of a Bunge official. This man is a highly learned personality despite all that is said about him. He is a laywer by proffession and a great thinker apart from being a grown up person. It would be extremely stupid for a person like him to do so in a broad daylight. Politics is really dirty at times.
I believe there something really wrong in the House and is probably linked to political inclinations. God Bless our Parliament, God Bless Tanzania and her people. We need to pray.
