    Nimetazama habari ITV, mabasi yote yaendayo mikoani kutokea Ubungo yanatakiwa yawe yamejiunga na CAR TRACKING SYSTEM hadi ifikapo 15.03.2011.
    Je wakuu, hii CTS ina umuhimu upi kwa mabasi makubwa?

    Na je itadumu kwa muda gani, ukilinganisha na amri zilizopita kama speed governer na mikanda ya usalama kwa abiria?

    Je, si mradi wa mtu huu na mwendelezo wa ufisadi?

    Hapanaa....sidhani maana najuaa hawapati chochote humo...ni dola 60 tu kwa mwz watakuwa wanapata taarifa za mwendo wa dereva report wanawapa wamiliki na sio lazima ingawa ni faida sana kwa wenye mabasi hayo...kujua mwendo kwa saa...na speed hata ulaji wa mafutaa kwa km...itasaidiaa sana kujuaa historiaa ya dereva

    Car Tracking system kama wataitumia vizuri inaweza kusaidia ku-track mwenendo wa Basi husika na suala la kiusalama kwa ujumla, tatizo linakuja ni kweli hii system haitachakachuliwa? Kama wakiwa makini na committed hii ni system nzuri sana ku-track Mabasi na hata mfano likipata ajali litaonekana mara moja lakini wasiwasi wangu ni namna shughuli hii itakavyoratibiwa.

    Safety systems zote zinazobuniwa kwny mabasi ni muhimu sana, shida inakuwa ni sustainability ya projects hizi...kwa uzoefu inaonyesha kuwa miradi hii inaanza speed nzuri ya fire-brigade, kisha ndani ya miezi tu inageuka kuwa white-elephant!

    Kwenye market kuna Car trucking system za aina nyingi sana, na kila moja inafanya kulingana na designer wake na demand ya sehemu husika, kwa zile ninazozifahamu mimi zianfanya mambo yafuatayo
    1. Speed Monitoring
    2. Fuel Consumption Monitoring
    3. Fuel drop Monitoring, due to leakage or theft (actual amount of fuel)
    4. Re-fueling Monitoring (actual amount of fuel)
    5. Engine temperature Monitoring
    6. Real time car trucking using satellite, GPS.
    7. Route trucking by using GPS/Satellite with SIM card
    etc
    Kila kitu kinachofanyika hapa ni real time, hata kama hakuna mobile network coverage, system huwa ina save data na kuzituma immediately baada ya kupata network.

    Output
    1. real time alarm kulingana na ulivyoconfigure system yako, inakuja kama pop window with description ya alarm, kama ni overspeed, fuel drop etc, baada ya ya kupata alarm unatakiwa kuchukua hatua immediately, either kwa kumpigia driver wako etc.
    2. Reports of different types kwa events mbalimbali kulingana na mahitaji yako, on daily basis, weekly basis and Monthly basis.
    etc.

    Kuchakachua sytem ni ngumu sana, kwani kwa kila kitendo utakacho fanya system huwa ina record nini kilifanyika na kutuma data, so ukichakachua itasema nini kilifanyika, wakati gani, sehemu gani, by longitude/Latitude na jina la barabara uliyokuwepo, system inachora graph kwa kila event iliyofanyika.

    Siwezi eleza kila kitu hapa, ila kama kuna mtu anahitaji trial, pls check with me, nipe email yako nikufanyie trial.

    Umekwenda vizuri sana kwenye depths za hii teknolojia, asante sana nadhani wengi wamefaidika.

    Nakuomba niulize swali.
    Kwa uelewa wangu, data hizo zote zinazokuwa generated na CTS zitakuwa routed kwny central computer au server iliyoko ofisi za cts.
    Je mwenye gari atapataje habari au mwenendo wa chombo chake huko barabarani ili achukue hatua za haraka? Unless kama atakuwa na gadget fulani in the name of 'owner piece', kwaajili ya kumonitor...whats yr word man?

    Na kwanini time limit ni fupi namna hiyo?! Hii kitu inahitaji zaidi ya miezi 6 from conception to implementation. Ilitangazwa lini na tenda ya msambaza tracker ilikuwa floated lini?! I sort of smelly something fishy in this project although would like to support the idea as a whole.

    @PakaJimmy, Sijui CTS wanafanyaje, ila inatakiwa Kila Owner apewe access ya system kwa kutumia computer yake na anamanage mwenyewe kwa kutumia watu wake, watu wake huwa hawajui system imefungwa sehemu gani ya gari, pia kampuni inayoprovide service nayo huwa inamanage wateja wake wote na kutoa support on daily basis plus reports, ila Mteja atatakiwa kulipia Monthly fee kwa ajili ya kumanage na kusasuport gari zake.

    So, wote wanapata acess, supplier plus mmiliki wa magari husika, hii kitu si kwa magari tu, ni kwa vyombo vyote in motion and stationary.

    Car track wana system nzuri sana ya ku track magari so kwa hilo usiogope watatusaidia sana kulinda usalama wa raia.
    Oficn kwetu magari yetu yamefungwa hizo system so hua inatusaidia sana hasa wakati wa field kujua kama kweli mhusika alienda katika sehemu husika na pia kujua mwendo na uendeshaji wa magari.
    Pia system za hawa jamaa zaweza kurecord movement ya gari na ku keep record hata mwaka mzima.

    Aksante kwa kipengele hicho cha kuhoji legitimacy ya tenda yenyewe.
    Amini usiamini kuna chakula ya wazee hapa, na inatakiwa ipatikane haraka!
    Ili kukamilisha ufanyaji kazi wa system hii, lazima kuna chombo kinachofungwa kwenye gari ambacho ndo kinamonitor na kugenerate data zinazotakiwa. Sasa biashara ya mtu/kikundi iko hapo.Vifaa hivi tayari wahusika washavileta, na inabidi vipate mlaji haraka ili kama mtu amechota hela benki,then izunguke haraka arudishe,otherwise hiyo haraka haina maelezo.

    Nenda BRELA ukaulizie CTS inamilikiwa na nani? ndipo utajua what is the motive behind?, nenda kafuatilie kiundani ujue tenda ilitangazwa lini? na tender evaluation ilifanyika lini na wapi? criteria zipi zilimpa ushindi wa tender CTS? HAHA AHAHA AHAHA Hi ndiyo Tanzania, ukijua owner wa CTS in nani? na wala siyo yule Moh... angalia na related na uongozi wa TABOA utajua motive behind. kila kitu nchi hii ni ufisadi mtupu.

    Wakuu, mimi wala sihamaki kuhusiana na mechanism ya hii kitu, kwani nilishakuwa involved nayo katika kiwango fulani, ambapo kwa nchi za wenzetu hadi usingizi/mapumziko (tacker break) wa madereva unakuwa monitored ili kupunguza ajali za usingizi usukanini.

    Issue hapa ni hii zabuni na jinsi ilivyopatikana. Tunakumbuka ule mradi uliotaka kufanyika kwa nguvu wa ukaguzi wa magari kutoka nje, watu wakalalamika wee mpaka Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) waka back-up. Pia kama ulivyodokezea Pakajimmy, kuhusu ule mradi wa speed governor; tenda na mradi mzima ulikuwa procured kiajabu ajabu tu kisha kulazimisha wenye mabasi kuweka.

    Basi na kile ulichosema hapo juu kuhusu watu kufanya money laundering na benki fulani hivi hapa Bongo ni kitu very likely. Kwani Richmond ilivyofadhiliwa na CRDB mambo yalikuwaje?... Si hayo hayo ya kampuni kutokuwa na asset yoyote ile inaandikishwa kama vile ina assets kibao, mkopo mkuubwa unatoka, hela inadaiwa kinguvu kutoka serikali/kodi/watumiaji kisha mkopo unarudishwa haraka haraka na watu wanaendelea kupeta. Ndiyo, ni kweli kwamba msingi wa business nyingi ni mkopo, but yawezekana kabisa hapa kuna mkopo 'usioandikishwa', mkopo hewa unataka kuzaa riba kabla ya annual reports/financial statements za benki husika kutoka.     naona hii kitu ipo computerized sana, sasa ukiwa mmiliki wa magari na wewe unaccess kwa kutumia computer ina maanisha kwamba uwe online muda wote ambao utahitaji kujua movement ya magari yako au?

    Halafu ikitokea hizo systems ambazo zimefungwa kwenye gari zikawa disconnected kwa makusudi/bahati mbaya ina maanisha kuwa CTS hawatopata data kutoka hapo na wewe mmiliki hutopata?

    Vipi kama nitashindwa kulipia bili au nikiamua kusitisha hiyo service kama sijaridhika nayo naruhusiwa?

    Hata mimi nikiwaza kwa sauti ni kwamba mwenye chombo akitaka kuwa na amani ni lazima awe online muda gari inapokuwa barabarani...Sasa suppose ana magari 5, you can just measure the workload!
    Lakini kuna hawa wahindi na makalasinga ambao wana hizi trucks hadi 50 kwa mmoja! na unakuta zote ziko barabarani...ni kazi kwelikweli!

    Pili kuhusu disconnection, from my laymans view nadhani pale unapodisconnect tu, server inaonyesha kuwa haina mawasiliano na probe fulani(ambapo ni namba ya chombo cha kwenye gari), na inarekodi muda ambao haina mawasiliano nacho, hivyo hiyo tu inatosha kumfanya mwenye gari ampigie simu dereva wake na kumuuliza kulikoni!

    Hizi harakaharaka zinatia mashaka sana!..Hili ni jambo linalotakiwa kuwa la kudumu, sasa kulazimisha lifanyike kwa miezi 2 lazima kuna pressing condition ambayo imefichika machoni pa wengi!
    BRELA..BRELA..BRELA...mmezowea sana kutumika na tycoons kama rubber-stamps za Money-Laundering, ambapo fedha hizi ni za wavuja jasho...
    Mara nyingine kama una hisa Benki utaambiwa safari hii gawio halitolewi, kumbe kuna ishu ya kufa mtu ilipigwa hapo kati, ambayo ilikwamisha normal flow ya fedha, au ilitimika kuwajaza mifuko wachache!
    Hizi benki hizi...!...Beware...be warned!
