Car Tracking System- Who is behind this?

"ngombe ni ngombe tu,so kila kitu kinachofanyika nchini ni ufisadi tu.....basi hata wewe kuandika hapa ni ufisadi.u dont ask kitu kinafanyaje kazi au kina manufaa gani wewe unaropoka tu.utaendelea kuwa ngombe"

Wakuu,

Wanyonge ndio wanaoumia. Kazi kweli kweli.. Hodi jamvini.

Hata hivyo hakuna mbaya!

"ngombe ni ngombe tu,so kila kitu kinachofanyika nchini ni ufisadi tu.....basi hata wewe kuandika hapa ni ufisadi.u dont ask kitu kinafanyaje kazi au kina manufaa gani wewe unaropoka tu.utaendelea kuwa ngombe"
Unless kama wewe unaishi UKIMBIZINI ndiyo utasema hayo uliyotamka!
Mbona wabeba mabox wenzako wako very well informed na mambo yanayoendelea bongo?...
Bongo SAFETY TAKES THE SECOND PRIORITY AFTER personal benefits!...Hujasikia hata ndege ya rais imewekewa commission karibia pasupasu ya true value!...

Kweli teknolojia inaongezeka.

PMwasyoke,

Company name Does not EXIST in our DATABASE!...(CTS)

Owners of upcountry passenger buses have been given three months to fit their fleets with satellite guided tracking equipment to reduce road accidents before 1st September, 2010.

Traffic Police Commander, Mohammed Mpinga, gave the directive during the launch of the new technology in Dar es Salaam yesterday.
He said the satellite gadgets would remotely monitor position, speed and overloading of buses through an advanced fleet management syste.
The traffic chief said the gadget would cost 1.2M (Tsh) with a 100,000/= (Tsh) monthly installment option available.
"Those who have many buses have up to three years to settle their payments through special arrangements," Mpinga said.
He noted that the traffic police in collaboration with the Tanzania Bus Owners Association (TABOA) in the spirit of Public Private Partnership (PPP) had made the initiative possible in a move to reduce the rate of road accidents.
Mpinga explained that his officers at the traffic police headquarters had already been given requisite training to manage the new technology known as Utrack Advanced Fleet Pro-System.
He added that the system had already been installed and would be controlled fromt he traffic headquarters in Dar es Salaam and the Ministry of Home affairs offices by the State of the Art Monitoring Command Center's newly installed by Utrack Africa Ltd.
Speaking at the launch, Utrack Ltd Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Zully Mohamed said the gadget would keep records wherever the bus drivers violated any traffic rules.
He said the gadget would, among other functions, show the number of passengers in the bus and every stop on a given route would have cameras that take photos after every thirty minutes and send to control centers to assure buses are carrying the correct number of passengers required.
In March, this year, the government abandoned the idea of re-installing speed governors in all passenger buses amid growing criticisms from stakeholders, who held a closed-door meeting in Dar es Salaam and agreed that the devices were useless based on previous records of their performance in the country.
In September, last year, former traffic police commander James Kombe, directed the drivers of upcountry passenger buses to observe the 50-80 kilometer per hour speed limit, as directed by traffic laws.

Utrack wins tender to supply and install Advanced Fleet Management system in all the buses in Tanzania

The Tanzania Bus Owners Association (TABOA) had put out a tender for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of the real time fleet management system. The basic aim of this tender is to greatly reduce, if not eliminate, accidents on the reads by the intercity buses.
The main objective here was derived by the fact that when an accident occurs, not only does it cause death and destruction, but it has a severe impact on lives of other dependents, family members, survivors, injuries and the list gets longer and longer. There is an urgent need to identify the bus operators and drivers that are the main cause of this loss of life and not to blame the entire industry as a whole since the bus owner is also a looser in an accident.
TABOA sought a solution that could identify and deal with this menace from the very core of the problem and this was identified as the fleet management systems from UTRACK AFRICA LTD.
The Bus owners have been previously advised to install speed governors. Over the years, it has been realized that these are in-effective and can be tampered with very easily.
There was even a law that supported the speed governors already in place and was to be enforced by the Government and this reads:
Section 51 sub-section (5) of the Road Traffic Act CAP 168 R.E. 2002
"No Person shall drive a public vehicle other than a taxi cab on a public road, unless that vehicle is fitted with a speed governor OR any other similar device designed to regulate and/or record the speed of that vehicle"
However, since the law does not limit the bus owners to installing any speed governors, they opted to issue this tender in the public domain which was awarded to our company.
The Tender awarded to us by TABOA is a 3 year Contract which guarantees our position and eliminates any competition, this will also result in a great expansion of our revenue and work load.
The advent of these technologies is indeed a brilliant phenomenon that can save lives on the roads in Tanzania and we are committed to providing TABOA with a solution to this problem to the best of our ability.
We have no doubts and we are sure you will agree with us that the implementation will lead to greater exposure for our company and will result in better business leads and probably more projects on our plate.
THE PROJECT

Tanzania Bus Owners Association (TABOA) has guaranteed us, as per contract signed, that number of buses in Tanzania are 2000 plus, we are working on 2000 buses, the exact number is unknown but is more than 3000 buses to be installed and commissioned before 31st May, 2011.
We are on a game and on schedule (so far) we have already supplied and commissioned Control/Command Centers at the Police Head Quarters and Traffic Central Police in Dar es Salaam, the stations are equipped with two 60inch Plasma Televisions, four high speed computers with 21 inch screens, high speed internet system and printers; the stations are required to start monitoring the buses through out the country making sure Laws are being obeyed.
