Siku ya Kimataifa ya Kuhifadhi Tabaka la Ozoni (Ozone) huadhimishwa Septemba 16 kila mwaka, ikilenga kutoa uelewa juu ya uharibifu wake na kutafuta suluhu
Ozoni ni tabaka la hewa lililopo katika anga la juu la pili (stratosphere) ambalo linazuia mionzi mikali ya jua inayoweza kuleta athari kwa Afya za binadamu na viumbe hai
Katika miaka 30 iliyopita, kemikali mbalimbali zimesababisha madhara makubwa kwenye Tabaka la Ozoni. Uharibifu wa tabaka hilo unapelekea madhara mbalimbali ikiwemo kuongezeka kiwango cha joto

#WorldOzoneDay is marked on 16th of September every year.The main objective of this day is to spread awareness among people about the depletion of Ozone Layer & find possible solutions to preserve it.On this day, let's stand to protect the Ozone Layer by using less harmful things
The UNGA proclaimed 16 Sep to be the #WorldOzoneDay in 1994. Over the last 30 years various chemicals and gases have had a great impact on the #Ozone layer. The theme for World Ozone Day 2021 is Montreal Protocol – keeping us, our food and vaccines cool.
