Job Title: Customs Clearance Specialist

Loc: Tanga

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply for port charges invoices, arrange payments, and manage customs clearance and cargo release.
• Apply for vehicle entry permits for port access.
• Supervise bulk vessel unloading at Tanga Port, record daily unloading quantities and progress, and promptly report and resolve any issues related to unloading and customs clearance.
• Coordinate with transport providers to arrange trucks for cargo movement.
• Collect delivery confirmation slips and invoices from transport providers.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customs clearance for bulk vessels at Tanga Port.
• Familiarity with clearance documents required by the Port Authority, Customs, Bureau of Standards, and other relevant authorities.
• Strong compliance awareness, excellent coordination and communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Must be flexible (reporting to the company is only required when a vessel is in port).
