Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Auditor to join our expanding audit team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who wants to take the next step in their career and contribute to meaningful client engagements while leading and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for clients in various industries.
- Review financial statements, audit reports, and work papers in accordance with IFRS/GAAP, IPSASs, IASs and firm policies.
- Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to clients and management.
- Supervise and support audit staff during fieldwork and throughout the audit process.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on auditing standards, regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA/ACCA qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, auditing standards, and regulatory frameworks in Tanzania
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior staff.
