Position Summary:
The Program officer will provide programmatic, administrative and logistic support for the implementation of the Program activities.

Key Responsibilities:
· Assisting program staff to compile statistics on quarterly, Semi Annual & Annual Progress Reports.
· Assisting Program staff with logistics, implementation, and reporting of centrally controlled capacity building activities at all levels.
· Maintaining records of all project and sub-partner files and deliverables on shared folders.
· Assisting Program staff in follow up/tracking administrative, financial and programmatic requests.
· Providing administrative/programmatic support to the Program, consultants, and partners.
· Assisting staff in organizing trainings/other events including preparation of the budgets on time.
· Maintaining and updating Project files - on shared folder, and ensure backup.
· Recording and handling all program correspondences.
· Maintaining the Project calendar; and assisting with planning supportive supervision visits to the sub-partner; headquarters staff meetings and other project events. This includes report writing.
· Processing travel authorization expense reports and other related travel and administrative needs for project staff.
· Assisting with updating program briefs and dissemination of the same as necessary.
· Coordinating review and approval of technical partner sub agreements, including preparation of concurrence memo to the donor and other relevant documents
· Assisting with preparing and compiling various project documents and reports and coordinating dispatch of the same to the relevant stakeholders.
· Program contact person on branding issues – to articulate the program branding plan and liaising regularly with FHI360 communication officer for updates on branding and informing/advising staff accordingly.
· Assisting in organizing the formative research, assessment and periodic evaluations of the project in the regions.
· In collaboration with STO PPP and OVC TOs facilitate establishment of SILC groups and overseeing their progress in all the regions. Make sure that all identified MVC households are members of the groups, also, older MVC about to transition to adulthood and out of school.
Minimum requirement:
· Bachelor’s degree/Advanced Diploma in Business Administration or public administration or social science with at least 1-3 years’ experience with Donor funded projects.
· Strong working knowledge of computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
· Trustful, honest, committed and accountable person to project resources
· Excellent interpersonal, ability to interact with a network of contacts, both internally and externally
· Strong organizational skills including ability to effectively maintain records and files and ability to organize own duties and work independently.
· Ability to work as part of a team, strong problem-solving skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality
· Ability to exercise sound and timely judgment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
· Fluency in written and oral English and Kiswahili
