Heavy weight boxers do come down with a bit of Malaria every now and then. As visionary as the complete eradication of malaria may be, blood sucking parasites still remain an obstacle that clearly needs to be dealt with. Nevertheless, maybe some humans have evolved in a manner that makes them immune to certain tropical diseases, maybe parasitic relationships seemingly benefit those with very little while granting the gods power and control. As the king lay deep in his slumber, a band of female anopheles mosquitoes would elegantly drown in creamy, fattening, precious blood only to be rudely interrupted by an abrupt slap. The King's slap can be likened to the horrendous sight of a cat walking queen striding for a ceramic bottle of insecticide. As she hurridely grabs hold of a couple of bottles, she catches a glimpse of the surrounding parasites and sends them to the afterlife.

That is the first page of my PhD dissertation on the evolution of humans in the African tropics. It is of course a literature review meaning it's completion will involve me drawing inferences from the works of many scholars in a variety of fields. With this, I should be able to put my imagination, creativity, and analytical skills to work as I unravel the mystery of parasitic relations in the tropics. I do not intend to write this just for academic purposes but instead hope that my research findings will engineer change amongst everyone in society.

If you're thinking of taking charge of your learning and maybe one day doing a literature review of your own then here's what to look out for. First and foremost, learn out of interest and passion and not just because you're looking for good information, or because you're going to be tested on the information. It is your interest and passion on a particular topic that will enable you to effortlessly learn from the works of your predecessors and get the most out of your learning. Whether you're planning on binging on the works of Karl Marx, or simply unwinding with a John Grisham novel, interest, curiosity and desire should take center stage when choosing to learn something.

With this, it is important to note that, there is no formula, list or set of material that needs to be mastered to perfection for one to eventually reach the pinnacle of the analytical world. Instead broadening the scope of your learning while gathering significant amount of information on your interests is key to being more intelligent and analytical. I'll say it again, you can't be analytical or intelligent about something that you don't know very well.

Go tell it on the mountains, the overnight geniuses, the parasitic mosquitoes, the feeling of having new pathways in your brain. A race to milk the Apple intelligence algorithm off one of their programmers, a contest to finally kiss the new pope's arse, triumphant in this land we call Tanzania.Do you speak English?, are you literate enough to read through a page of text?.

Have a good day

You can be intelligent at anything even if you don't know it very well.
Focus and trust in a supernatural being are needed for success.
