EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES ON CONTRACT BASIS (URGENT) ​

Mbeya University of Science and Technology invites applications from suitably and competent persons to fill vacancies that exist in the Directorate of Estate and Technical Services at the University on Contract basis.

TECHNICIAN II (CIVIL) - 2 POST

Qualifications
Holder of Ordinary Diploma (NTA 6) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in the repair and maintenance of College facilities; ii. Conducts routine repair and regular maintenance of equipment in the College.
• Assists in production of facilities for students projects and practical research and consultancy work under close supervision of laboratory scientists and academic staff
• Implements specified maintenance plans for College facilities;
• Implements specified technical plans and designs connected with repair and maintenance work;
• Performs any other duties assigned to him by his seniors.

Salary Scale: PUSS 3

Tenure Contract
Successful candidates shall hold the office for One (01) Year and may be renewed upon satisfactory service.
