Deposists beneath Indian ocean believed to be equal those of Kuwait. BP is likely to partner with Somali to exploit the reserves. A canadian firm Africa oil has struck oil in Puntland, to begin exporting crude as early as April (pipeline is in place).Question was Somali conflict about control of oil resource?

Hope oil will work for them not against,and hope hawataingia kwenye contracts kama zile za kina Jk na gold,lakini wasomali atleast wanajua haki yao na ni wahangaikaji kisawasawa,wakileta za kuleta mafuta hayatachimbika pale.

The bad thing thing is political interference. This is a problem. Somalia must be left to make decisions on their own. One thing is the TFG will not have its mandate extended. But US and UK through Amisom. want to lay the foundation for political formations. the Horn of Africa country has numerous resourses like uranium. even Iran has interest. has vast quantirties. That is why UK US and Canada had had sleepless nights.
