KENYA: Watu 6 akiwemo Mama na Mtoto wake wafariki baada ya nyumba waliyokiwemo kuangukiwa na ukuta wa uzio wa Hospitali ya Pandya.

Six people, including a mother and her children, were killed on Monday after the Pandya Hospital border wall collapsed on a house in Mbaraki, Mombasa.
This followed heavy rains in several parts of the county and the Coast region that paralysed transport on most routes.
Victim Kamanza Nguta, 60, had sold cassava to students of Mbaraki girls and Mbaraki primary schools for 20 years.
Mariam Chirindu, 30, and her four children also died in the house. The children were Francis Mwanduka, 4, Ishmael Mwanduka, 18 months, Amir Chea, 6, and Khamisi Kamau, 6. An unknown number were injured.

"I was in in my house when I saw the structure collapsing. We rushed to the scene after hearing neighbours' screams."
Francis Auma, an officer from Haki Africa, said police, firefighters and neighbours arrived on time but could not rescue any of the six.
"It is unfortunate that we lost six lives. We are calling upon the national and county government to help the victims of the tragedy," he said.
Mombasa county secretary Franic Thoya denied claims that the county disaster management team was ill-prepared.
"This has happened following heavy rains We did not anticipate it but will ensure it is well managed," he said.
