Your endurance is noted on your flight plan and so the information is available to them. In an emergency they may confirm that you have enough fuel on board; ie if you have been losing fuel or have adjusted the consumption to increase your endurance. However, just entering controlled airspace under VFR or normal conditions does not require that ATC unit to check or confirm the amount of fuel or endurance that an aircraft has. This is always the Captains (pilot in command) responsibility.

I once worked in a place where it wasnt so easy to get the flight plan once filed by the pilot, so the only way was to ask the PIC, and i could then proceed to fill the flight progress strip!...huh!
The other problem connected with this thang is, the tower is always too high from the ground level, while the (C) thing (ATIS) must always be on ground in order to facilitate the ATI-users, so for the non-computerized systems, one has to keep moving up and down to relay the FP's!....huh!
