From the two quotations above, lets shorten the discussion by taking an assumption that the ATCO asked the pilot concerning his endurance, may be it was in some emergency situation enroute, coz we dont have further conversation, right?... after all disregard(ha ha haaa!), coz its a jokes series!
I once worked in a place where it wasnt so easy to get the flight plan once filed by the pilot, so the only way was to ask the PIC, and i could then proceed to fill the flight progress strip!...huh!
The other problem connected with this thang is, the tower is always too high from the ground level, while the (C) thing (ATIS) must always be on ground in order to facilitate the ATI-users, so for the non-computerized systems, one has to keep moving up and down to relay the FP's!....huh!
