Request for Quotations (RFQ) - 160 Bicycles

[COUNSENUTH]

COUNSENUTH has received funds from Irish Aid for the operation of its Gender and Nutrition Program in Chemba District, Dodoma region. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment for the procurement of various of materials for COVID 19 mitigation, in Chemba District, Dodoma Region.

Scope of Service
COUNSENUTH invites quotes from eligible and registered local suppliers who can supply brand new bicycles within designated time, with the following specifications:
Brand New Bicycles 160PCS With Posterior seat, speed king with gear, brand new multi speed to be used in the field works (Suitable for rough road and mountains)

Other Criteria

1. Quote should be valid for at least 30days
2. Current and updated company profile must be submitted
3. Copies of registration certificate, valid busines license, TIN number and any other relevant documents
4. Evidence of similar work/assignment with at least three references from clients served must be submitted
5. Payment terms must be indicated
6. Modes of delivery to Dodoma, Chemba district.
7. Manufacture authorization should be attached for all distributors and dealers
8. Technical capability of the bicycles to operate in field area
9. Recommendation letter from clients at (least two).
10. Quote should indicate a guarantee
11. The total number of bicycles is 160pcs and these have to be delivered within 30days of winning the tender.

Please Note:

1. Late or incomplete document will not be accepted
2. Selection criteria will be lowest or reasonable price, technically evaluated, meeting specification and other criteria described above
3. Issuance of request for quote doesn’t constitute award/contract commitment by COUNSENUTH.
4. All quotes must be in Tanzanian Shillings
5. Deadline for submission will be on 21th, August 2020, 14:00 hours, Quotations will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Supplier’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening at COUNSENUTH premises, Plot 22 Sam Nujoma Road, Mikocheni B, P.O. Box 8218, Dare es Salaam Tanzania.
