Wana jamii naomba mnisaidie, kuna baadhi ya maswali nimekutana nayo kwenye interview nimeshindwa kabisa kulijibu.
1.unataka tukulipe shilingi ngapi?
2.kwanini tukuchague wewe baada ya wengine?

i. Ni muhimu sana kwanza wewe mwenyewe kuwa umefanya ushushu mapema katika hilo kampuni, kujua scale zao za mishahara na kwa levelo yako ya elimu. Ulipopigiwa tu simu ya kujiandaa na usaili ulipaswa uanze kudodosa kujua ABC.. za hilo kampuni na scale zao, namna linavyofanya kazi linahusika na nini etc. Otherwise unaweza jikuta hata ukiaambiwa ueleze unavyolifahamu hilo kampuni, labda ungeweza kukwama. Hivyo siku nyingine chunguza mapema shughuli za hilo shirika, na kujua hata average salaries kwa levelo yako ya elimu na uzoefu wako.

ii. Ukishindwa kupata taarifa za awali juu ya hilo shirika na scale mishahara yao, basi sasa unajiangalia wewe mwenyewe, uwezo wako, kipi hasa unajua katika hiyo nafasi uliyoomba. Ni muhimu sana kujua ni vitu gani katika tangazo walisema vitakuwa added advantage (ie labda una lesseni ya nkuendesha gari au unajua lugha za kigeni zaidi ya mbili, au uzoefu wa kufanya kazi sehemu hiyo mradi/shirika linapotaka kukupeleka etc). Je walisema kuwa kama mtu anajua hiki na hiki huyo atakuwa assets/ yaani ndio yale mambo ya added advantage, ie wewe una sifa za ziada labda uko ujuzi na aina hiyo ya miradi, au uliwahi fanya kazi sehemu fulani mradi kama huo na ukaacha success 1, 2, 3...., au wewe labda unajua sana kuandika proposal, au unauwezo mkubwa wa kusolve migogoro hapo lazima ucite mifano ya mafaniko yako. There are alot of ways of answering these questions depending on which position you are applying for ,your experience and educational background...l assume that you are WELL QUALIFIED AND HAVE SOME YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.....

My perfect answers will be

“I’m more interested in finding a position that’s a good fit for my skills and interests. I’m confident that you’re offering a salary that’s competitive in the current market.”
In some instances the interviewer may insist you give him a figure
..the best way is to mention your LAST SALARY...then say you believe that was too low because you have grown so much in terms of your experience and deserve higher than that....

Option three you must have done a research on how much someone of your experience and qualification gets paid and come up with a range eg if you expect 2mil a month say between 2and 3mil a month.

QSTN 2:
This is the IQ Question,The answer is totally dependent on lndividual....
Here are the guidelines:..ln your explanation insist on the following points....

History of success
Well qualified
Intelligence
Character
Ability to fit in that paticular position
Plus alot of energy to drive the processes...
Therefore they should take you.

Remember there is no general answers for all candidates for all positions...to be specific next time tell me in which profession and level are you so that l can give a very relevant answer ....
I will take an example for someone applying for Supervisory / Management position..
My answer will be..
1.lam very friendly...
A supervisor should not always be friendly because he needs to discipline subordinates whenever appropriate...However you need to be friendly with your customers and also with your subordinates when situation is calm...so the company can accomodate this kind of weakness

2.lam very haste and sometimes lmpatient...

Sometimes you need to be very patient esp when you work with new inexperienced staff member....However when you work under pressure you need to be haste and lmpatient....again the company can accomodate this kind of weakness
You also need to demonstrate that you are working to correct your weaknesses

I am an HR practitioner, well explained. The guy should take this.
 
Simply mtu uliyekua kitaa taja 750,000/=
There are principles to be followed when it comes to salary negotiation...
When you currently dont earn a salary ie student or unemployed and you never worked before...you will almost have no salary expectation hence give more power to your potential employer to decide how much he will pay you....
 
I am an HR practitioner, well explained. The guy should take this.
I am a Business Manager....managed a span of 300 to 500 .....l have Employed...Trained...Fired...and consulted....just trying to share my experience

Swali La mshahara jiamini usije ukaona aibu ukataja hela ndogo ambayo kampuni inalipa juu ya hiyo,hawatakuongezea watakulipa hiyo hiyo,Lakini ukitaja hela kubwa kama wakitaka kukuajiri watakwambia mshahara wao wanaolipa,kama ukikubal sawa ukikataa kazi ndo hivyo tena.Hii niliwahi kuishuhudia sehemu
