A Tottenham supporter has been left with serious injuries, including a fractured skull, after an unprovoked attack by a fellow Spurs fan who may have thought he was a Chelsea fan.
Michael Voller, 23, was leaving Wembley Stadium after Saturday's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea when he was targeted by a group of fellow Spurs supporters walking the other way.
The Metropolitan Police said he suffered a broken cheek-bone, eye-socket and skull after a man in the group punched him in the face outside the Moore Spice Restaurant on Engineers Way at around 7.30pm.
Mr Voller, a former gardener at the north London club's training ground, has been released from hospital but needs further treatment - and doctors are concerned his eyesight has been permanently damaged.
The force has released images of his injuries as they appeal for help identifying the suspect.
He is described as white, aged in his early 20s and approximately 5ft 10in, and was wearing a black hooded top or jacket.
Detective Constable James Robb, of Brent CID, said: "This was a violent and unprovoked assault that has left a young man with some terrible injuries that could end up affecting him for the rest of his life.
"I'd appeal to all Spurs fans to think hard about whether they have any information about the person who did this."
