POSITION: Management Accountant
PLACE OF WORK: Head Office
LOCATION: Kinondoni – Morocco area, along Bagamoyo Road
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting
Professional Accounting qualifications
Must be a computer literate.
Effective communication skills.
SUMMARY OF A ROLE PROFILE
1) To ensure that all cost control measure for the company are adhered to e.g. procurement procedures and practices to ensure value for money.
2) To ensure spending is in line with budgets – Review of purchase requests against expenditure and Capital Expenditure budgets and report any excesses to the Finance Manager
3) Ensure accurate allocation of expenditure to the correct cost codes in the general ledger.
4) Review all expense items on monthly basis and recommend ways of reducing costs and minimizing of waste.
5) Participate in preparation of financial budgets
6) Review the Trial Balance to ensure all postings were done correctly before presenting it to the Finance manager for approval.
7) Prepare management reports.
