Dodoma, Tanzania. The recent opinion polls conducted in Tanzania has revealed that Tanzanians fear Kenyans the most compared to their other neighbours.
An opinion poll conducted between December 5, 2015 and January 5, 2016 by STRATAGEM revealed that 82% of Tanzanians hate Kenyans because they believe Kenyans are arrogant criminals who can steal anything as long as they make money.
The poll also confirmed that 97% of Tanzanians are hesitant in supporting their country to join East African Community because of Kenya.
88% of Tanzanians believe that should East Africa unite under one umbrella and facilitate freedom of movement, Kenyans are aggressive and will take over everything in their countries.
They believe that should that freedom be guaranteed, Kenyans will run away from.
77% of the interviewees believe that should Kenyans be allowed to their country, they’ll instill their weird characters and corruption tendencies on Tanzanians and there will be no peace in workplaces.
Previous research had revealed that in every 10 bank robberies, 9 are masterminded and carried out by Kenyans who hoodwink a few Tanzanians.
87% of women complained that if East African Community is formed, notorious Kenyan commercial workers will flock Tanzania and steal their men, thus causing divorces and poverty in their homes.
Stratagem interviewed 14500 Tanzanians across the country.
