Time is not the issue here but Strategy! and you have seen their actions!..The problem with Tanzania is that u r too idle! what can your poorly equipped army do anyway? no wonder you have refused to send troops to Somalia..while small countries like Burundi and Djibouti have done so!..you should be the last people to judge KDF or any force in Somalia for that matter,since you have failed to consider the security as Somalia as an East African problem,otherwise we do not expect anything from you!
 

moyo, ni mambo yepi yanayokusuma kusema kuwa Tanzania is too idle? And on the point of being poorly (or better) equiped, do you think operation linda nchi was expected to last this long? if not, why it took longer than initially antincipated for the army to finish the job?

Lastily, once this operation Linda nchi ends do you think that will be the end of Al-shaabab?

the boats you criticize are the only formidable navy in the Indian Ocean rivalled only by SA. To be honest Tanzania lacks a navy. On the air front Kenya has delivered a total of 50 w-z9 gunships...(comprehensive full batch delivery) and some are in action in somalia. Kenya has taken delivery of 16 MI-28 comparable to american apache and are being assembled at embakasi 50 air calvary base not to mention 35 MD500 copters. The list is endless...F5s that u dismiss possess new advanced avionics and are expected to be phased out with closure of somalia theater, probably in the next 5 years or later. REPLACEMENTS: An expected number of not less than 35 F15 eagles to be delivered. Thats a clenching fist by regional standards and word on the ground claims some of the birds are on Kenyan soil... Possibilities of the same are high considering the NAVY seabees are busy setting up an airbase from scratch. Utakubaliana nami kuwa operesheni ya kenya (OLN) ndio imemaliza equation ya the threat matrix ya Alshabaab na sio utani. Waganda/UPDF waliingia kichwa-kichwa bila kuokota intelligence ya kutosha huku wakipoteza majeshi wao zaidi ya mia tano. Jeshi la Ethiopia/ENDF, baada ya kuingia kichwa-kichwa katika utekaji wao wa kwanza na kupoteza majeshi zaidi ya 70, hawakupata somo. Waliingia mara ya pili na ile agression yao ya kawaida na kupotezamajeshi.

This is sheer olla podrida. It looks like your weltanschauung is too narrow, only limited to Tanzania and Kenya. Your self aggrandizement is simply purelile. It is strange, that with all this "awesome firepower" at hand, the Al Shaabab is hitherto proving to be a juggernaut against the KDF. The "mighty" KDF is now under AMISOM's command.

next time make it simple for an intelligent conversation.....
Fact:
1) tanzanias naval power is not comparable to Kenya navy by infrastructure, interdiction capabilities or anything you may want to raise.
2) Kenya navy personnel are bigger in numbers
3) though under Amisom, KDF is still autonomous and not under the Ugandan command on the ground. Did you see any UPDF commander in Afmadhow? You forgot units serve in different sectors 1 and 2 respectively.
4) KDF incursion is what gave Uganda the impetus to finally break out of Crazy town, all the lifting and heavy work courtsey of our Airforce, air calvary and dedicated soldiers on site.
5) KDF tactically delayed an assault into Kismayo and Afmadhow by choice. Just after a week of Capturing Afmadhow, the gallant soldiers have captured Bibi town, 45 kms from Afmadhow and 75km to Kismayu. They are on schedule.
By whatever measure, whose spatting purile data? AK if we are having this conversation limit yourself to reason rather than aimless words. Thank you.

Najua that is greek for JWTZ. Kwa hivyo tusijiweke hapa na terminiology ambazo huzifahamu vizuri. Na vita vya kagera/Idi Amin havikuwa na IED na rocket propelled grenades. Kwa hivyo Kenya has fought a third generational war ambayo Tanzania/JWTZ hawana experience making the KDF an advanced, intelligent, and capable army ready to withstand any type of attack whether unconventional of not.......

Mfano mwema Ethiopia/ENDF waliingia 2006 na wakakiona cha mtema-kuni kutoka ICU. Intel base inatoka from the local population not drones. Otherwise the kenyan operation has been hailed as the most successive in combating and wiping Alshabaab. ENDF waliingia na kufa kama vifaranga. Waganda walielekea mogadishu kutoa maafisa wa kijeshi/500 kama kafara. In actual sense the ENDF na UPDF operations could have protracted the war to 2016 jambo ambalo Kenya haikuwa tayari kushuhudia.
