VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
1.0 NATURE AND SCOPE
The PPF Pensions Fund was established by the PPF Pensions Fund Act [Cap 372 R.E 2002] as amended time to time with the objective of providing pensions and other related terminal benefits to all employees in the formal and informal sectors.

We are seeking to fill the positions of Operations Trainee for Zones- 16 Posts, Contributions Trainee – 08 Posts, Operations Trainee for Liason Offices – 06 Posts, Member Services Trainee (Correspondence) – 04 Posts, Marketing Officer – 03 Posts and Marketing Manager – 01 Post with the specific requirements as follows:
OPERATIONS TRAINEE FOR ZONES- 16 POSTS
The Operations Trainees are expected to carry out some of the following duties;
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in recruitment of new members.

Assist in making follow up of delaying contributions;

Assist in keeping track of retired pensioners;

Assist in educating members on Fund operations within the zone area;

Assist in attending all matters or problems facing members;

To learn all the duties and responsibilities of the entire department;
To carry out any other lawful work related duties as assigned by supervisor.


Qualifications
By appointment of a holder of Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing or Economics or Social Security Administration or Insurance or any other related qualification from a recognized institution and must be computer literate.

CONTRIBUTIONS TRAINEE – 08 POSTS
The Contributions Trainees are expected to carry out some of the following duties;
Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting in examine monthly contributions remittances;

Assist in allocating monthly contributions remitted to individual members’ accounts;

Assist in ensuring proper reports, statistics and records of monthly contributions maintained and to ensure that specific Objectives and targets are met;

To learn all the duties and responsibilities of the entire department;

To carry out any other lawful work related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
By appointment of a holder of Degree or Advanced Diploma in Finance Management or Social Security Administration or Insurance or Information Technology or Economics or its equivalent from a recognized institution and must be computer literate.

OPERATIONS TRAINEE FOR LIASON OFFICES – 06 POSTS
The Operations Trainees for Liason Offices are expected to carry out some of the following duties;
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in recruitment of new members.

Assist in making follow up of delaying contributions;

Assist in keeping track of retired pensioners;

Assist in educating members on Fund operations within the zone area;

Assist in attending all matters or problems facing members;

To learn all the duties and responsibilities of the entire department;
To carry out any other lawful work related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
By appointment of a holder of Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing or Economics or Social Security Administration or Insurance or any other related qualification from a recognized institution and must be computer literate.
MEMBER CARE TRAINEE(CORRESPONDENCE) – 04 POSTS (Head Office)
The Member Care Trainees are expected to carry out some of the following duties;
Duties and Responsibilities
To assist in compiling registered data and other information’s;

To assist in the preparation of members’ identity cards;

To assist in ensuring members’ records are properly maintained;

To assist in provision of timely information required by members;

To learn all the duties and responsibilities of the entire department;

To carry out any other lawful work related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
By appointment of a holder of Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing or Economics or Social Security or Business Administration or any other related qualifications from a recognized institution and must be computer literate.


MARKETING OFFICER – 03 POSTS (Head Office)
The Marketing Officers are expected to carry out some of the following duties;
Duties and Responsibilities
To recruit new members;

To collect marketing and commercial data from members for facilitating marketing segmentation and preparing negotiations;

To identify existing products and review members perceptions on these products;

To handle and follow up effectively member’s queries and remarks;

To develop knowledge of customer expectations and contribute to the marketing database;

To implement selling campaigns for existing and potential members;

To carry out any other lawful work related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
By appointment of a holder of Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing or Economics or Social Security or Business Administration or Sociology or any other relevant field from a recognized institution coupled with at least a minimum of three years working experience in related field.
MARKETING MANAGER – 01 POST (Head Office)

The Marketing Manager is expected to carry out some of the following duties;

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for preparation of recruitment plans of new Members;

To develop and implement PPF marketing plan;

To plan and manage PPF marketing and commercial action plan;

To coordinate every phase of the marketing programme, including research, members/product portfolio, product development, promotion, and advertising;

To supervise all marketing staff and liaise with the Contributions, Finance, Legal, Investments and PR Directorates;

To oversee member satisfaction research to identify member’s experience of service provided by the Fund;

To produce reports on an agreed time detailing member feedback, complaints, root cause analysis for member issues and feedback, recommend improvement and analyze trend and forecasts;

To prepare meeting with other managers to discuss possible improvement to members;

To carry out any other lawful work related duties as assigned by supervisor;

Qualification
By appointment of a holder of Master’s degree in Marketing or Economics or Business Administration or Political Science and Administration or Sociology or Social Security or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution and has served in a relevant field for at least five years and must be computer literate.

REMUNERATION

The successful candidates will be offered attractive and competitive remuneration packages consistent with PPF Pensions Fund Remuneration Scheme.
