In many discussions whether in leadership, ethics, religion, or daily life, we often see people explaining and defending actions after a problem has already occurred. But this raises an important question:

Why do we justify after the problem exists instead of preventing it before it happens?

True responsibility is not only about explaining what went wrong; it is about having the foresight and wisdom to act in a way that prevents the problem in the first place. Justifications after the fact may clarify events, but they rarely undo the damage.

So the real issue is this:
Is responsibility measured by our ability to explain mistakes, or by our ability to prevent them?

What do you think:

Is post-problem justification acceptable?, or should true accountability focus on prevention and foresight?

Let’s discuss.
