Preparation of financial and management reports, covering Cashflows, Budgets, variance analysis, commentaries and financial statementsPreparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reportsPreparation of detailed costing reportsPreparation of investment appraisal reportsLiaising with managerial staff and other colleaguesSupervising a team of finance graduate traineesDeveloping and managing financial systems/ policiesManagement of the relationship with local bankersControlling and forecasting income and expenditureSupporting the Executives business strategy formulation Developing costing models for Vurani CapitalManaging payments to various suppliersResponsible for bank reconciliation reviews and sign off.Responsible for vendor assessments and on-boarding
Qualifications
Must have a 1st Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Investment Banking or BankingMust be fully CIMA/ACCA qualified, Must have at least 3 years minimum CIMA/ACCA post qualification experience Desirable: Financial Services or Manufacturing experience will be an added advantage

Responsibilities and Qualifications
Reporting to the Management Accountant and other Departmental Heads
This is a 3 year structured program which fully complies with ACCA’s Practical Experience Requirements. Key performance objectives rotation departments will be:
· Financial Management – 6 months
· Financial Reporting – 9 months
· Auditing – 12 months
· Risk Management – 6 months
· Tax Management – 3 months
The trainees will be required to:
Liaise with managerial staff and other colleaguesSupport the development/ reviews of financial management systems/ policiesSupport with banking and bank reconciliationsCarry out other adhoc duties as required.
Qualifications
Must have a 1st class Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Investment Banking or BankingEnrolling & qualifying for the ACCA program in 3 years is a must, Desirable: A keen interest in investments management
