- kuangalia stability ya eneo kwa kuangala core samples ambazo zitakuwa drilled mahali husika, umuhim wa hili ni kuwezesha kujua durability ya hiyo engineering structure,
- pia geologist tunatumika kusahidia kujua ugumu wowote unaoweza kupatikana wakati wa construction project kwa mfano kama itagundulika eneo ni gumu basi hatua muhimu ya kuandaa vifaa mahususi itachukuliwa
- usalama ni mhimu ktk engineering constructions, hivyo safety, practical and suitable economical designing itafanyika.
