Shirikisho la Soka la Kenya (FKF) linapenda kuujulisha umma kuwa timu ya taifa ya soka ya Kenya, Harambee Stars, imejiondoa rasmi kwenye mashindano ya CECAFA Four Nations yanayofanyika nchini Tanzania.
Uamuzi huu umetokana na mapendekezo na ushauri kutoka kwa benchi la ufundi la timu, likiongozwa na Kocha Mkuu Benni McCarthy, baada ya kufanya tathmini ya kina ya mazingira yaliyopo. Hali ya mazingira hayo ilionekana kuwa si rafiki kwa maandalizi na ushiriki wa timu kwa ujumla.
Timu ya Harambee Stars itarejea nchini Kenya na kuanza maandalizi ya Mashindano ya CHAN 2024 (African Nations Championship), kwa lengo la kuhakikisha maandalizi bora kwa jukumu linalokuja.
FKF imejidhatiti kutoa mazingira bora kwa timu ya taifa ili kuiwakilisha nchi kwa heshima na mafanikio.
Mashindano haya yalikuwa yanatarajiwa kuanza julai 22 na mechi ya kwanza ilikuwa kati ya Tanzania na Uganda.

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) wishes to inform the public that the national football team, Harambee Stars, has officially withdrawn from the CECAFA Four Nations Tournament currently taking place in Tanzania.
This decision follows recommendations and advice from the team’s technical bench, led by Head Coach Benni McCarthy, after a thorough assessment of the prevailing conditions. These conditions were deemed unsuitable for the team's participation and overall preparation.
The team will now return to Kenya to focus on preparations for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024, with full attention on achieving optimal readiness.
FKF remains committed to providing the national team with the best possible environment to represent the country with pride and excellence.
