I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I just want to ask—has anyone here tried mixing greenhouse farming with local organic methods to cut costs? I'm curious if it's working out well, especially with water savings through drip irrigation. Also wondering how people are dealing with pests inside the greenhouse—are natural methods enough or do you still need chemicals sometimes?

I’ve been combining drip irrigation with raised beds inside garden rooms, and it's working great. The controlled environment really helps keep pests out and saves a lot of water. I added a simple timer for the drip system, so everything runs smoothly even when I’m not around. Starting small was key for me—helps figure things out before scaling up. You could start with a basic setup then adjust as needed.
