Position purpose

Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure safe procedures followed at all times and compliant to company policies, procedures and in country regulations and standards.
- Manage team and lead team of electricians and assistants and co-ordinate work fronts.
- Co-ordinate installation of all aspect off mine related electrical work
- Check and understand drawing off work specifics.
- Maintain paperwork, drawings, personal lists, pre-starts and timesheets.
- Plan, schedule, assign, supervise and participates in the repair and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures.
- To complete effective preventative maintenance and repairs to all electrical installations, equipment, tools, refrigeration equipment, generators and any other electrical equipment that may be used at Nyanzaga Site
- Conduct regular statutory checks on electrical infrastructure to ensure compliance with regulations and general safe operation. Conduct risk assessment where repairs are not covered by standard procedures.
- Report to Building and Infrastructure Manager any irregularities that may be found during execution of your duties
Qualification/ experience
- Full technical Diploma or a recognized Trade Certificate in Electrical
- More than 2 years supervisory experience in mining construction industry
