"Protesters above are holding on to a dead bird during a protest in the Musaga neighborhood of Bujumbura."
I am frustrated and disappointed by lack of action in the troubled East African Nation . Worse the lack of political will by the leadership of African Union, to face up to the challenge of containing an African bully whose forces are running amok, killing and creating internal refugees. The future generations of Burundians will condemn African Union for inaction, in there so called African Solutions to African problems ?. ..
This drawn out conflict is telling, maybe our the African Union has been paralyzed by the dark forces linked to Burundi's bloodletting. The violence in Burundi makes little sense in today's world, the only way to find answers is embedded in the power of witchcraft.
I took a public transport in Mombasa, a lovely discussion ensued on our way to Mtwapa, also known as Kenya's sin city. A holiday mood is already building in Mombasa. We saw two European middle aged throwing profanities at each other, with thick European accents, a passenger pointed at the two and mentioned that "The two must be investors fighting over money, the route of all evils" adding that "The conflicts in the regions are all resource conflicts, the wealthier a region more vulnerable the area is to conflicts" ..
"Yes very true, conflicts in Africa are predetermined..". added another voice, "Places like Burundi, Tanzania and Congo which are rich in minerals suffer most in sorcery, and political and business leaders affords the best Juju Juju men."
I thought ..This was an intelligent crowd, I was enjoying my holiday already ..
"True...True ..True," answered a lovely lady no more than 23 years old, I noticed her for her Vietnamese sun hat, this style of hat is used primarily as protection from the sun and rain .. .. "A lot of these resources are bought off by criminals, this wealth is protected by Juju, I have seen a lot of Nigerian movies on the same. This is also why Juju in Africa is practiced by the very top .. A case in point is the bloodletting in Burundi, the same goes unchallenged, suggest that Bujumbura has gone witchcraft to protect the rogue government..
A loud bust of laughter rushed out, quickly after it died all the passengers took to deep there deep thoughts, it was like the comment unsettled them.
I would have loved to hear more of the young lady's thoughts, she without doubt is an educated person, Kenya invested heavily on education. It hit me that the curiosity and lack of fear to share thoughts was the reason Kenya's civil society is a force, and countries such as Burundi are in poor shape.
The discussion reminded me that Kenyans have the responsibility to lend its voice Burundian course. The confidence in which the 22 year old articulated an embarrassing topic and intelligently sell her thoughts, is what makes Kenya's civil society critical to good governance in the region.
The silence from Kenya's civil society is worrisome, not trying to alarm anyone but the silence could mean dark forces are at play, the government of Bujumbura has cast spells to silence critics.
I declare Shamefaced, belatedly though that as a member of Kenya's vibrant community we have failed Burundian people. Our hearts goes to Burundi, and we sincerely apologies for our failure to speak for the people of Burundi, victimized by ruthless power barons engaged in witchcraft to loot beautiful Burundi, whose capital is Bujumbura.
No good decent, God fearing people can engage in the killings and beating of Burundian citizens that bleeds all our hearts. The Failure by the regions civil communities to adopt the pain of Burundian's at the hands of a cruel vicious government is equally sad, and plays in the hands of Juju men in Bujumbura.
I understand the Tribal Chief is sufficiently protected by violent charms, he whose name cannot be mentioned, without the prospects of the critique facing the threat of painful consequences. "Maybe" the power brokers looting and destroying Burundi have also caste a spell on African Union and surrounding capitals.
All those who have sought to criticize the President, I understand have mysteriously gone silent, this includes Western governments, NGO's and International Humanitarian groups. I agree I too lost my way, It's strange living in Kenya I felt the paralysis, this is not new, the image of the young Burundian with shocked glazed eyes speaks of this paralysis, captured freezing after the protester attempted to call the President names during a protest against a decision to allow the President to run for third term.
The images coming out of Burundi is telling us, particularly African diplomats to consult there own Juju Men to find solutions for the problem of Burundi . I understand in Africa witchcraft plays a big part in governance, it will not surprise me if government delegates based in African Union headquarter are themselves Juju men busy casting spells in African Union. With briefcases full of objects, such as amulets, and spells as part of witchcraft to complicate Burundian Crisis.
I consider the killings in Burundi ritualistic, Bloodletting (or blood-letting) is often a withdrawal of blood from a patient ( Burundians) to cure or prevent illness and disease ( discredited and intimidate those against greed of life presidency) . Bloodletting or targeted killings or mass murders is based on an ancient system of tribal conflict in which blood of enemy tribes or critiques are shed to maintain power.
Burundi Protesters seem to understand the machinations of the evils of rogue Burundian leaders, violence against unarmed protesters reminds us of the deployment of dark forces in the Burundian conflict.
The above image reminds us that evil thrives when good people are silent, and that we need to be vigilant and remove spells from our eyes and be counted in the protection of Burundian people, and save them from evil of powerful warlords who abused the discretion and trust granted on them ..
