Could Fossil Fuels pose a security risk in eastern Africa?

Discovery of fossil fuels in eastern Africa has rekindled old disputes. Some which were discussed in whispers in board rooms are becoming noisy affairs. The turn of events is surprising observers in Africa and questions such as how much of a threat these being publicly discussed.
Will reason prevail to avert a potential danger?

Probably the economic growth of the region is becoming a big threat to the western as a results the western wants to confuse us and if we are not careful we will end up killing ourselves, while the big headed countries will sell their weapons and still our Fossil Fuels.
