    That this House is dismayed at the BBC's production of the genocide denial programme entitled, This World - Rwanda's untold story; recognises the central place the programme now occupies in the activities of genocide denialists; urges the BBC to conduct an immediate inquiry into the editorial and managerial decisions which led to the airing of the programme on BBC2 on 1 October 2014; further urges the Director General of the BBC, a member of the House of Lords, to act personally and transparently to deal with this matter of profound political significance and social injustice; and commends the campaigning efforts of Professor Linda Melvern et al to this end.

The United Kingdom parliament said the documentary entitled, This World – Rwanda's untold story aired on BBC2 is a denial of genocide and should be investigated.The house said in a statement released on November 6, 2014 that it was disappointed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) for denying the 1994 genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda "this House is dismayed at the BBC's production of the genocide denial programme entitled, This World – Rwanda's untold story; recognises the central place the programme now occupies in the activities of genocide denialists" Part of the UK Parliament readThe house urged the BBC to conduct an immediate inquiry into the editorial and managerial decisions which led to the airing of the programme on BBC2 on 1[SUP]st[/SUP] October 2014.The Britishlawmakers further urged the Director General of the BBC, a member of the House of Lords, to act personally and transparently, deal with the matter of profound political significance and social injustice.This comes in the midst of a potential row between the British media agency and Rwandan authorities of which the latter has temporarily taken measure of blocking all BBC local programmes aired in the country now.Rwandans have also petitioned the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) to apologize to the Rwandan people, Tutsi genocide survivors, Rwandan government, and Rwandan President Paul Kagame for the lies, generalisation, false accusations, innuendoes and wild allegations made against them in the BBC documentary titled; "Rwanda: the untold story."The Rwanda Utility and Regulatory Authority, (RURA) has named Five Experts who will analyze allegations against BBC accused of disseminating divisionism among Rwandans, after many Rwandans staged protests and peaceful matches against the BBC.

Mkuu jinsi PK anavyojibaraguza ndo kisu cha ukweli kinavyozidi kuingia ndani ya flesh ya uongo.
Moja ya uongo ni kwamba waliouwawa majority ni Watusi, lakini inaelekea the opposite is true!

You will come across this bit of dialogue:


"Alan Stam: If a million people died in Rwanda, in 1994, and that’s certainly possible, there’s no way that the majority of them could be Tutsi.
"BBC: How do you know that?
"Stam: Because there weren’t enough Tutsi in the country.
"BBC: The academics calculated there had been 500,000 Tutsis before the conflict in Rwanda. Three hundred thousand survived. This led them to their final, controversial conclusion.

"UVA Professor Allan Stam: If a million Rwandans died, and 200,000 of them were Tutsi, that means 800,000 of them were Hutu.
"BBC: That’s completely the opposite of what the world believes happened in the Rwandan Genocide.
"Stam: What the world believes and what actually happened are quite different.
"BBC: Estimates of the number of Tutsis and Hutus killed during the genocide vary greatly. The Rwandan government asserts there were far more Tutsi in the country to begin with, and that nearly all of those who died were Tutsis. When Stam and Davenport presented their findings, they were told to leave Rwanda, accused of being genocide deniers.

"Stam: We have never denied that a genocide happened.. We don’t deny a genocide happened. But that’s only part of the story."
The numbers are disputed, with many impressive scholars disagreeing. They are not truth written in stone, as the writer suggests here: "An estimated 800,000 Rwandan people, mostly minority Tutsis, were killed in just 100 days in 1994."

Therefrom you can derive your own conclusions.

Tupe source ya hiki kipande na sie tuchunguze 'motivation' ya mwandishi....ku exaggerate...

hahaha. Njia ya muongo (newstimerwanda) siku zote huwa fupi. Mkuu hebu cheki hayo mabango halafu jiulize: Kingereza kimekuja Rwanda 2008, baada ya kagame kukorofishana na France. Bongo tu hapa hatuwezi kuandamana na mabango ya kingereza ili hali kingereza ni secondary language ya serikali na mashuleni toka ukoloni pre-1961. Je inawezekana vipi kwa Rwanda ambayo mpaka 2008, lugha rasmi ilikuwa kinyarwanda na secondary language kifaransa? Hao waandamanaji wanaoitwa "rwandan youth" wenye midevu yao hicho kingereza walijifunza shule gani ndani ya miaka 6? Ingetakiwa wanaoandamana na mabango ya kingereza wawe watoto wa std 6 labda !!
Obviously hao waandamanaji ni watoto wa wale english speakers ambao walikuja na kagame, they don't represent ALL RWANDAN YOUTH! na mpaka hapo obviously kila mtu anajua hao watoto ni kabila gani hata kama they simply call themselves "rwandese".

jitu linalochamba wima unalionea huruma ya nini? sitti mtemvu mwenyewe ni mbongo kaishi Rwanda kwa shangazi yake miaka kadhaa tu juzi karudi hapa anaturingishia kifaransa sio kingereza, leo hii eti wanyarwanda wa mtaani kabisa wanaongea kingereza mpaka wanaandamana na mabango? Huu si uchambawima huu?

Jmali acha kuzalilisha Bongo! Yani unataka kusema kamawanatatizo nawaingeleza halafu wakaandamana itabidi waimport experts wakiingeleza kuja kuwaandikia mabango? Saa zingine uwe unakumbuka ya kwambaunawafuasi humu ambao ushawauzia sumu, kwa style hii watakukimbia wote, yaaniwe ni lawama tu hata isipobidi.
Kwa kifupi hapo mlengwa ni mwingereza sasa ulitaka tuandikekwa Kinyarwanda? Lol...kwa. Taarifa yako Jmali yuko taabani, na hii inaonyesha anakribia kupona. Sijui kama ulishaona mtu mwenye pepo wabaya anavyofanya akiombewa na walokole? Hii mikiki yote inadhihilisha ni jinsi gani pepo zinamtoka lakini kama mnampenda ndugu yenu Jmali basi mwaisheni kwa Kakobe au kwa mama Lwakatare aombewe!
Na kama hataki basi mtuachieni tumtemmeshe polepole virtually.

Is genocide denial, like holocaust denial, a crime now? What about denying the existence of God....isn't it a crime?
Hilarious, that one is allowed to deny God but is not allowed to question these things.

Rwanda ya leo sio ile ya kina Jmali, ukituletea za kuleta lazima ujute hata ukiwa nani, we vuta subira kidogo ndio utajuwa Rwanda ya leo yawezaje kutapikisha sumu mpaka waingeleza!
