Friends, anyone with idea on what other Receivers other than Strong that are doing fine in terms of PV and Biss but can be avaible in dubai market, i would prefer a linux box. My brother is travelling to Dubai and i want to send him for a good and long lasting DEC please advise.

If you're brave enough go for a Technomate decoder. I would also advise you go for a Strong srt4930L i hear its Linux based
