What you're locked on currently isn't the 7West mux but SES 5 @5East. You need to lower your dish just a little bit from here to lock on to 7West. Use the Dubai One tp (11785v27500) to track. All the best.

Thanks flybird, I called the Orange guys and they said that they'll clarify to me about the username and password which I had left blank. Hope at long last it'll work.

have u received any feedback from orange

startimes on srs 5?

TopTV viewers have noticed a change in branding on the satellite pay TV platform’s movie channel, Top Movies, to STV Movies 1.
This comes a few weeks before the deal with StarTimes is set to conclude (November 2013,according to BusinessTech) that will see the China-based operator acquire a 20% stake in On Digital Media (ODM).
On Digital Media, which operates TopTV, has declined to confirm or deny whether the new logo is indicative of a name and branding change for the broadcaster.
“We are in a transition phase right now, and a lot of changes will be made,” a spokesperson told MyBroadband, adding that they are busy testing these changes at the moment.
Other than changes expected to TopTV’s bouquet of channels, StarTimes has indicated that it plans to take an axe to subscription TV costs in South Africa.
The relaunch of TopTV and the expected introduction of its p*rn channels comes after Sentech relaunched its Vivid platform as “Freevision” , on Monday 30 September 2013.
E-tv sister company Platco Digital is also expected to launch its subscription-free satellite TV service, OpenView HD, in mid-October 2013.

StarTimes, the China based network operator behind a rescue deal for TopTV, signed a deal with satellite operator SES, to expand its media footprint in Africa on SES 5 satellite.

StarTimes, which claims over 2.6 million digital terrestrial television (DTT) subscribers on the continent, has signed a 10-year contract on SES-5 at 5 degrees East.
The Chinese firm will utilise four transponders as of October 2013 and a fifth transponder from February 2014 to grow its DTH subscribers in Africa.
The Chinese firm said it will continue to broadcast TopTV on SES-5 by using three of the newly-contracted SES transponders that were formerly leased by ODM.
The other two SES transponders contracted by StarTimes will be used to complement the group’s DTT offering in remote and non-urban areas and grow its pay-TV business.
“The recent success of StarTimes’s strategic investment in ODM will allow us to reach new audiences in South Africa. The partnership with SES enables StarTimes to have a DTH platform in addition to the existing DTT and mobile TV (CMMB) platforms in sub-Saharan Africa,” said StarTimes Group chairman and president Pang Xinxing.
“In addition, the high-powered SES-5 at the prime orbital location of 5 degrees East is ideal in overcoming the challenges of terrestrial coverage to reach large audiences.”
“This will allow us to extend our broadcast reach across the continent and ensure excellent service and picture quality for our viewers.”
