Cisco adds security to SPN content
India’s Sony Pictures Networks (SPN) is protecting the launch of its latest high definition (HD) channels with Cisco VideoGuard technology.
The broadcaster will utilise Cisco’s VideoGuard Everywhere software-based video service protection solution to secure its primary content distribution to a wide variety of devices.
“Our content is our most valuable asset. Securing that content from piracy and today’s sophisticated hackers is a top priority for us. Our work with Cisco to deploy an advanced security solution across our network and content distribution platforms will help us protect our premium content for subscribers,” said NP Singh, CEO, Sony Pictures Networks.
Sanjay Kaul, managing director, sales, India and SAARC, Cisco, added: “As one of the leading regional satellite operators in Asia Pacific, Sony Pictures Networks India will now be one of the most advanced and secure content distribution platforms in Asia Pacific.

Global answer to the above questions: yesHi Gich. What i mean is, all sats receivable in a given region let's say 57e to 91.5e. Does it support "all the tps" in each sat and in all the said sats? Does it automatically roll or it needs to be internet connected to do so. Does it autoroll immediately upon the release of new keys?
Thanks for the share. As you rightly say, that's a tough balancing act of lnbs, tps, and interests. Here is the snapshot. from up 76e, 70.5, 68(c/ku), 66, 64, 57 and 54e.
Fantastic Qimeu, that requires patience, skill and precision. Here is the snapshot. from up 76e, 70.5, 68(c/ku), 66, 64, 57 and 54e.
Quite expensive and he doesn't have. Where get a 180cm prime focus good price in Nairobi
My hunch tells me if that is new in the shops, to take that silently and run. The last time I was in the area where they are sold, it was going for ksh. 8,500 and 9k. The prices could have gone down significantly though since then.Any one with an idea of where I can get the 1.8 (180cm) prime focus dish Nairobi at a bargain price. The contact I was given quotes 6,000 Ksh. Anywhere lower?
I'd also take a stroll in the South-C area there are plenty here.My hunch tells me if that is new in the shops, to take that silently and run. The last time I was in the area where they are sold, it was going for ksh. 8,500 and 9k. The prices could have gone down significantly though since then.
