KDF families have started moving into the 500 new modern housing units at Roysambu Military Camp after President William Ruto officially commissioned them on February 26, 2026.
The Roysambu development is part of a 3,069-unit Phase One, which also covers Nanyuki, Gilgil, Lanet, and Mariakani military installations, aiming for completion by June 2026.
The project addresses longstanding accommodation shortages, providing dignified housing to improve KDF welfare.
Phase Two is set to deliver 10,000 more units nationwide.
