Police have warned us that the above photos, are of young Al-Shabaab suspects. The men are "armed and dangerous" and may have sneaked back into Kenya from Al Shabaab camps in Somalia reports the Police. ..

Police have since asked the public for information leading to the capture of the terror suspects. This we support with unconditional commitment...I would also humbly request authorities, to look at the document recently generated by the "West African leaders. Where Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS) endorsed a veil ban"..

Given that ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government (HOSG) has resolved to harmonize efforts against terrorism, and insecurity in West Africa. It is necessary that East Africa follow suit and harmonize its own policies with that of ECOWAS. Efforts against terrorism must be standard all across Africa, this will mitigate politics around the war against terror.

"Politicization of the war against terror is Kenya's Achilles heel", A joint Africa policy will create red lines that is necessary. A case in point is the recent Allegations of extra judicial killings rumors cooked by Al-Shabaab who are under pressure in Somalia.

Counter -Terrorism measures adopted by ECOWAS, are religious friendly, my argument is that the policies are well thought through will sects mostly affected by jihadist elements, It will be easy to sell the same to East Africa's Sects.

The Al-Shabaab are good in steering political trouble in Kenya, adapts at spreading rumors to demoralize security forces, the objective is to plant seeds of discord to inflame sectarian suspicions and violence.

Al-Shabaab has always tried to create an the impression that majority Christian Kenya harasses and discriminate against non-Christian . Just recently leaders from a Kenya region regularly infiltrated by Al-Shabaab accused security forces of extrajudicial killings..

It later turned out that they were mislead, this was confirmed by both local and international human rights groups. Who both stated that the allegations against security forces were planted stories. The leaders who accused security forces of extrajudicial killings later apologized to the public ... Curiously, the apologies failed to register in the mainstream media, that is often quick to paint Kenya's security forces negatively. .

Intelligence community believe that the alarmist comments are " target specific", directed at the Kenya's institutions that are waging war on terror. The purpose of these attacks are simple really, they are meant to negatively sell to the international community that Kenya's security forces are rogue.

Kenya is sensitive to international opinion, it heavily trades with Muslim countries and again, given that Nairobi houses a huge expatriate community and various Multilateral bodies complicates Kenya's standing internationally. The is why many find the allegations cruel and wicked, the same is designed to weaken Kenya's resolve to fight the growing threat of domestic terrorism.

"The recently planted stories of extrajudicial killings many believe was cooked by enemies of Kenya, the same was aimed at hitting Kenya where it would hurt the most, the intention was to undermine Kenya's good standing at the "World Trade Organization's (WTO) ministerial conference recently held in Nairobi, the same blight Tourism that is recovering .."
