Hatimaye Tume ya Vyuo Vikuu (TCU) yaanza kutoa orodha ya waliopokelewa Vyuo Vikuu
kwa kudunduliza.
Finally TCU University Admission Results are out in drips and drops
After nearly four months of sitting on the CAS admission results, and three months behind schedule, the TCU has finally began to release the computerized centralized university admission results. A process which ought to have taken the pressing of a button has taken them four months to execute. It must be the longest time ever taken to press a button so someone please let the people at the Guinness Book of World Records hear about this Tanzanian achievement.
These results have began to be posted on their web-site in drips and drops
They said that the results posted are the first batch, consisting of 10 Schools the others are still being finalized. More possibly they are trying to accommodate the demands of some political leaders that their children who did not qualify for admission to a particular school should be admitted nevertheless.
The first batch is in a single Pdf file of 190 pages of which pgs 135 to 150 are blank. The document has no heading, no table of contents, most pages have no page numbers on them and the few that have page numbers they are out of sequence. Fonts are quite chaotic, big, small, color or no color, all mixed up.
Actually the list covers 11 schools (not 10) but there are three schools which have no institution name and a number of the programs have no name either. Here is the list of institutions whose results are listed:
1. Weill Bugando University College of health (BUCHS) (Code BU) pgs 1-4
2. Dar Es Salaam University College of Education (Code UDD) pgs 5-40
3. No institution name (Code IF) pgs 41-95
4. Another no institution name (Code RD) pgs 96-103
5. Another no institution name (Code SW) pgs 104-107
6. Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College KCMCo (Code KC) pgs 108-111
7. The Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy - (MNMA) DSM (Code MN) pgs 112-118
8. Moshi Univ. College of Cooperative and Business Studies (MUCCoBS) (Code MC) pgs 119-134
9. Mkwawa University College of Education MUCE (Code UDM) pgs 151-167
10. Stefano Moshi Memorial University College SMUCCo (Code SM) pgs 168 - 175
11. Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College TUDARCO (Code TD) pgs 177 190.
As you can see from the list, most of these are the smaller schools; the big ones such as University of Dar es Salaam, Mzumbe Univ and SUA their sheer size is perhaps still giving them headaches?
