SATA AHCI Controller Driver

I run the F45-AV412. I need to slipstream SATA AHCI Controller driver into WXP cd. How do I find out the make and model of my motherboard so I can search and download its AHCI driver? I can't use a program to read it for me because Vista crushed and I don't have the time to recover it and purpose is to replace it. Or, is there a generic driver somewhere? Links please and thanks a bunch.

Lakini ukisema computer yangu ilitengenezwa kwa matumizi ya vista na WIN 7 hapana, nikiweka Linux inakubali vizuri tu, sembuse XP. Tatizo XP CD haina drivers za SATA interface ninazozitafuta.

Inaonekana ni Intel waliotengeneza motherboard ndio watakuwa na hiyo driver, sio Toshiba, lakini ni lazima kujua motherboard ni make and model gani. Nitajuaje na Vista lenyewe lisha crush ?

Just Open the Computer Case and read the sticker written M/B Part Number
once you get it put the part number in the google it will give you the overall details

kwenye bios setup ya ibm utakuta option mbili ahci na compatibility thn kama utaweka compatibility mode basi xp inafanya kazi vizuri. khs machine yako, online kuna drivers za vista os na sio xp. jaribu kudownload chipset drivers au tafuta universal drivers cd alafu ufanye update ya chipset driver.

Problem solved.

Heshima mbele wakubwa, hii kitu imeniumiza mukichwa muda mrefu sana. Lakini nimeweza kuchanganya hints kutoka kila post.

Search term ya "mass storage drivers like ahci" hapo juu ilisaidia kupata drivers. nLite hapo juu ilisaidia ku integrate drivers kwenye XP CD. (Sikuwa na option ya turn off SATA mode kwenye bios, hivyo safari ilikuwa ndefu.)
