Hello guys, Now a days to obtain a scholarship is a very easy job, but to obtain a good scholarship may become a problem. For post graduate studies it is very easy due to many reasons that I'll not cover here in my post. On the other side undergraduate scholarships are limited in number and very very competitive. Referring to the first message in the thread for a student with a diploma qualification you just first need to know different guidelines for different applications in different countries that offers such courses and level of education u desire. then u need to well understand admission requirements needed and your financial position. Also many universities in the world offers scholarships but under the basis of the two main things academic excellence and financial need. although the first one in most cases is the must. also there are many foundations that offers scholarships to student from different regions, for the case of diploma students try to look for master card foundation. One of the mistake that many students fall in is that they start to look for scholarship instead of starting looking for a good university to study. My advice, find the suitable universities that suits you in-terms of your academic performance and other personal factors, try to list out 10 to 20 choices then, out of them try to find which among them offers the scholarship that will be suitable for you, then start to follow up ASAP, because many people in the world are applying for the same post as your,so the earlier the better. also now a days in most universities in the world a student is considered for a scholarship if he/she is already been offered a place to study in respective university, so it will be a nice move to first trying to obtain admission to a university because most of them are need blind.

Another important thing for Tanzania students, specially those from government institutions is they don't have extra curriculum activities like sports, athletic and so forth, so be advised that one of the important criteria for admitting a student for higher education in most developed countries is extra curriculum activities so try to enroll and participate in different social activities and volunteering works as it will increase a chance for being admitted and being considered for a scholarship.
