Kuna wakati walinunua airtime kutangaza utalii kwenye CNN ambayo inatazamwa dunia nzima.

Idumu EAC

..Tanzania tuna watu wengi kuliko nchi zote za EA halafu documents muhimu zinaandikwa ktk lugha ambayo wa-Tanzania wengi hawaimudu.
...Then, were are supposed to translate them. We can not blame anyone, for this, can we.

...Totally in agreement!

And guest what, a sizable number of them end up in coming to Tanzania. Wachache wanatoka huku kwenda kule, kwa maana ya point of initial entry. "Mtama kwa kuku" kweli kweli.

ACHA watangaze, kama wewe umelala na wao wanaona pesa inapita acha wapige pesa, sisi tumebaki kulalama, hata viongozi wetu hawaweki kipaumbele ktk mlima huo

Idiocy? Wake up bro!

..with regards to EAC documents, the Kenyans have been very smart in making sure all the documents are written in English.

..Tanzania tuna watu wengi kuliko nchi zote za EA halafu documents muhimu zinaandikwa ktk lugha ambayo wa-Tanzania wengi hawaimudu.

..hii nchi haina viongozi.

Tanzanians must be damn slow...I mean it’s just a small document if the government realizes that majority of people cannot understand it, it should simply translate it into Swahili

Funny enough many people out there thinks Mt Kilimanjaro is in Kenya. Of course it's a wrong notion; but maybe it has something to do with pre-colonial history. Did you know that the border between Kenya and Tanzania was straight and that the mountain was in Kenya? It is Queen Victoria, then the monarch of the United Kingdom that ‘gave' it to her grandson, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany, as a birthday gift. Check your history!!!

...Anyways.
Do we know how EU operates in Brussels?

What tz needs tondo is remove barriers to entry for tourists who wishes to enter directly through JKNIA as opposed to JKIA.
this would prompt tourists to reconsider their decisions to enter through Kenya, taxing them heavily for entering from Kenya is a smart move,we should also create incentives for tourists who actually comes in direct through JKNIA,am not an expert in this, but it should be plain and simple,in a way any tourist wishing to hike mt. kilimkanjaro from Kenya or visit the Serengeti would have to be dumb to to that.
If we are not smart enough to strategies we can hire geniuses from Global powerhouses to lay out strategies for us then we harmonize them to reflect our situation.and here politicians must be kept at bay as they are always for short term gains.

Tanzania is full of people who are very poor in business and basic history....Mt Kilimanjaro is technically Kenyan..no wonder we will have an airport near it.I am also in the tourism industry and the hell we go through whenever our van pass thru namanga nobody can tell! you have one of the most corrupt govt officials so far...that is the main reason Tanzania is voted the worst place to do business in the region.! it does not matter coz you are too cheap! with small bribes as little as ksh 1k..ua officials let vans pass without any problem.
However this charges are bad for business..its hurts Tanzania more than you think..so stop exchanging ignorance on this issue.

Hello wiseguy, just because you apparently happen to meet with some lazy policeman at the boarder,do not goa ahead and assume every Tanzanian is such. We do have our fundamental issues as a Nation, Huge ones, but that does not guarantee you any superiority across these boards. If we take this as a pressing issue there is no lack of smart brains to device a corruption free strategy to counter your free ride across the border my naive kenyan friend.

Kenya buidling an airport near the Kilimanjaro is like a neighbor buying new tires when the next house has a brand new car..,at the end of the day,i wouldn;t call that a smart move,as it is purely based on what TZ will do with our damn piece of rock..,comes a change in regulation and you are screwed with a white elephant airport. But given how resource stricken you are as a Nation, i totally feel for kenya. Its hard being Kenya surrounded by UG(Oil), TZ(everything) and the South Freaking Sudan(with its oil riches).
I know you will come up wit hTZ is sleeping type of ****..,but hey yeah even china slept for over half a century, while Japan piggybacked it..,look who is smiling all the way to the bank now.

Trade protections Hurts in the long term, every one knows it, But in some cases it helps to bring matters under control.Tanzania can not stop Kenya falsely/trickly advertising "kilimanjaro can be seen from kenya"..,what Tanzania can do though is Tax the hell out of anyone who was stupid enough to buy that ****. No hard feelings, everyone does this tax thing, the US does it,the UK does it, hell even China does it..,why not Tanzania for a change?

Mkuki kwa Nguruwe, ila kwa binadamu mchungu. Tanzania Horticultural Association wamelalamika miaka mingi kuhusu Kshs. 2 wanazokatwa for each kg kwa cut flowers wanazo airlift kupitia JKIA, lakini hazijaondolewa. TZ keep charging, tighten the grip! Nchi inahitaji pesa bana! These people are unfair competitors, hawafai! Musoma Dairy, Mboga na vitu kibao haviruhusiwi kwao, we don't need free riders in the name of EAC Integration!

i don't understand this goofy, Mt. Kilimanjaro is technically Kenyan, can you elaborate? Go ahead and annex it with your operation linda nchi!

watanzania mkikubali hili mtakuwa mmefanya a big mistake..wakenye wanapokea watali wengi sana na mbuga zao zinaanza kufa

Is it that you are ignorant of history au?! technically it is kenyan maana Queen of England dished it out as a birthday gift to a German whatever and you should be greatful to the British for border demarcations. wakati huu mungekuwa munaongelea kuhusu mbuga kavu za wanyama pekee

and who gave you mt. kenya and mombasa? can't you be grateful as well, as you would be landlocked, who dou have to thank for that?

...I will be interested to know if Balala had some talks on these issues with his counterpart, and they failed. Going to the press -he is politicizing the matter- will not help, as important and thorny issues like these are settled over the table.

The matter is political already, since it involves two different countries. The trouble is there is no one one the otherside of the border to talk seriously about this matter.

What I am saying is that Kenya has never claimed Kilimanjaro, the disadvantage to you is that it is right at the border so you feel short changed ever time visitors at Amboseli see it
