Connection cisco router to a pc

    Hello Gurus,

    I have a cable having RJ45 on one end and USB on the other end.

    Can I use this cable for connection of Cisco router to PC for configuration?

    How do i do this?

    What i know is that u can use a console cable to connect router and computer for configuration and then go to terminal for confi

    No, an RJ45 to USB cable is just a network card.
    What you need is a rollover cable also known as a console cable probably with a USB adapter. Or if the router is already configured you can connect through the network using Telnet or SSH.
