Nimemaliza kufanya project yangu, ni website ina features mbalimbali ikiwemo forums. naomba mtazame kisha nitashukuru kusikia neno lolote la kujenga kutoka kwenu, kwa imani niliyonayo juu ya upeo, hekima, ufahamu na elimu ya wana jukwaa hili naamini nitapata maoni yatakayo toa changamoto na motisha niweze kuiboresha. Naomba utumie muda kuipitia uone features mbalimbali, ukiweza kufanya registration ( hautahitaji kufanya confirmation kwa sasa kwenye email yako) itapendeza pia. Pia kuna version mbili ( mobile & full style) kama ukitembelea kwa simu sio vibaya ukiitazama na version yake ya desktop kuna link chini( switch to full/mobile style)

hii sio advert kaka nimekuja hapa kwa kuwa naelewa JF is a Giant website in Tanzania na kuna watu waliopo hapa wana mawazo bora na yatakayonipa changamoto nifike mahali , Nadhani sio tatizo kabisa kutangaza forum ndani ya forum, especially pale zinapokuwa na malengo tofauti.

Shuletime sio sawa na facebook, watu wanakutana na familia, marafiki, ndugu na wafanyakazi wenzao facebook kubadilishana picha na matukio ya maisha ya kila siku, shuletime forums zinazokutanisha watu wenye mtazamo sawa au tofauti, sio muhimu wawe wanafahamia kwenye maisha halisi. Kama jina lilivyo students, academicians and young people are more concerned.

It's possible to convice them, at ST you can post things that can't be posted on someones' facebook wall. I know you not everything can be posted on facebook. You have to poste them somewhere else anonymosly, something u can do on ST

Honestly, this looks ugly, I don't know what you "Designed" because designing includes making the UI/UX better and pleasing but this looks like ugly, people don't care what features you have on your application, as long as it looks ugly we assume everything else is ugly including whatever features you have:
My Advice: Try learning how how to design first (css/javascript) before diving into those php stuff.

I heard about them, good work they are directly dealing with secondary schools. Shuletime hailifungi kuzungumzia masomo pekee. It's free to talk everything from school life to everyday life, scholars and non scholars.

Mkuu nilikua sijaona hii ya MyElimu, endapo ingepata walimu ambao wangeweza kufanya recording ya pindi kwa quality nzuri mfano 720p, pindi likakatwa zima vizuri kabisa na ku-upload videos, au kama inashindikana basi kuzilink na best videos zilizopo youtube sasa hivi maana ni ku-embedd code tu ingekaa kistaarabu zaidi

zech you are the first person commenting negative, something i like but u didn't say axactly what is technically ugly on the website, which version (mobile/desctop) and also you are calling it ugy comparing to which website?

people don't care what features you have on your application

what kind of people? probably only zech kind of people. Where did you get that rule? Features matter everywhere, imagine these sites without features whatsapp,instagram,fb,twitter. Do you remember what happened to Myspace?

I am more than ready to see your designes i may learn something! but i can admit shuletime may not be perfect so as any website on the Web, Roman empire wasn't built on a single day, we are just starting, we will make use of what you are saying if we find them useful.

Try comparing your site to that http://myelimu.com/ then you will see what i mean by ugly. I didn't even try checking the mobile version because i didn't like the desktop version (that's what i mean when i say users don't care what features you have as long as your product looks ugly).

The fact that i have to click somewhere to get to the mobile version of your forum shows that something is "technically" wrong with your design, ever heard of media queries?

Yes i am the first guy to give negative comments because i am an honest person. I spend so much time on the internet and i know a beautiful design when i see one. I don't want to just say "its good" while i know its not, just because i don't want to hurt your feeling. Get back to the drawing board and learn designing dude, that's my advice.

All kind of people don't like ugly products, not just "zech" kind of people. Why do you think companies like apple invest so much on design / form than features? ditto facebook, basecamp,gmail etc??, all the best products on the internet have the best UX/UI, there's a reason for that

This quote forces me to believe that you are affiliated with myelimu. I even if it's true, i wouldn't dis someone's better idea simply because it's about to beat mine! Hivi ndivyo waTanzania tulivyo kweli?

I can't answer that question, you should start another thread for that ( i don't recommend though). myelimu is myelimu, and shuletime.com is shuletime.com

Are you real into website design? do you expect a web browser to automatically redirect you to a mobile site without clicking a mobile link?
The site has automatic detection, all visitors using mobile devices are automatically redirected to the mobile version, We left the links for users to switch to whatever version they like. We may get rid o them if found to be useless.

I suggest you go at shuletime.com register, go through every feature in it. then start posting things that you real know, and just making replies on this post under assumptions? you just judged a book by it's cover zech

No i am not affiliated with any of these sites, i actually just seen them today when i was reading the thread so nothing personal man.

Do i expect a browser to redirect me to a mobile version of your site? - That's why i asked you, have you ever heard of media queries?, i guess not that's why i told you to learn how to design first.

Did i judge the book by its cover? - I think i just did, and if "the cover" is the "www.shuletime.com" homepage, then i won't even try to buy that book.

Look man, watanzania tumezoea kuambian "oh good job, kazi nzuri, blah blah blah" even if its not. So kama unataka hivyo then "kazi nzuri" but you have to know as long as you are on the web, your target audience is no longer in tanzania only, you are now on display worldwide, and out there, there's some real great designers who will see your ---- looking site. do you think people out there will say "good job"? exactly!

Just learn some designing kidogo then you will see what it does to your site.
 
zech I wonder if there is any website project on earth that can ever meet your imaginative standards! I can't wait to see your projects posted here.

You sound like i never acknowledge when somebody does something great, which is wrong, there's lots of web projects that i like but most of them are not created here in Tanzania which is sad. We have projects coming up which we may not post here on this forum but we will definitely post them on our website's blog so kama unataka i will let you know.

Fanyia kazi maoni ya zech na wadau wengine.

Ntawasiliana na admin wa site hiyo japo nilikuwa sitaki kuji involve kwenye project yoyote kwa sasa ila hakita haribika kitu
 
Nyasiro sawa nashukuru kwa ushauri nitafanyia kazi. Japo Mimi binafsi nilitaka site isiwe na forum list kwenye front page ili iwe tofauti, naana imezoeleka forums nyingi zinamwonekano sawa kwenye front page.
I wanted shuletime to have it's own style.

zech nitafurahi pia kuona hizo projects, unaweza kuni-PM.
