CCM have been scoring own goal, seems like they don't have a formidable strategy, they've been goofing all along on their every move. Former president Mkapa climaxed it all by calling the opposition force, idlers (malofa), I remember even in my country Kenya, there are people we never allowed to speak in rallies, since everytime they spoke, we lost a huge chunk of voters.
Tanzanian opposition should use this opportunity to score, they too seems so unprepared, this is the right time to drive home the winning kick and score. Now that CCM are staggering on stage, and are busy trying to hold onto anything, it's the only one available chance for the opposition to amass the remaining strength and drive it home. But they too don't seem to be ready. I expected Lowassa to electrify the massive national attention he got yesterday, the guy is not eloquent, and he is too unsteady. His choice and flow of words are missing the much needed flavor. The whole nation was tense and attentive, waiting for him to release it..... the team involved in prepping him should up their game.
However, the former PM Sumaye and Masha didn't disappoint. They have it in them, and ironically they all came from CCM. Actually, the speakers yesterday who seemed to inspire were all from CCM, but UKAWA's own initial team has gone mute save for Mbowe.
Anyway, it's my own personal observation and opinion as a Kenyan with interests in Tanzania, I might be wrong and open for correction. CC:
