Marcelo's ban reduced

Real Madrid appealed the two-game ban handed down to Marcelo for kicking Levante's Jefferson Lerma in their recent fixture, and the relevant committee have upheld that appeal, downgrading his punishment to just one game.

The Brazilian will therefore only miss the match this Sunday against Real Sociedad, and will be available again to Zinedine Zidane on Wednesday September 20 for the league game against Betis.

Theo Hernandez is set to take his place at the Estadio Anoeta in what will be a big test for the young Frenchman.
