Macbook 10.7.2

Hi good people!

I have a MACBOOK running on MAC OS X Lion v10.7.2 crashed. When I was trying to restore it using disk utility, I found myself erasing everything on the main drive containing OS and all my documents. It has been replaced by the Recovery Disk. Is there any thing I can do to have my documents back?

Only if you have backup in another storage

Did u ever back up by time machine? You can retrieve what you lost from there.

Otherwise nothing can help. The only thing is u can redownload another OS and start afresh.
